Mertens isn't gonna help Chelsea. . .I can understand trying to get Aubameyang to the club, cause Tammy can and will learn from that guy it's a win win for all parts but mertens is gonna be a waste, cause if pedro and willian goes that is going our young wingers time to play and more importantly to be confident in their style and play

I can imagine Rice coming to Chelsea for around 70mil since he’s English. Plus if Rice expresses he wants to go West Ham won’t want to keep him like they did Payet. Lampard will replace Jorginho with Rice

I'm at a loss as to just WHY hes got such a hard on for Mertens. Yes OK hes not bad and probably still a upgrade on Tammy BUT the guys 33. Going to be on £150k a week. What kind of a contract is he going to get and how long for? He cant get over 1 year or it will make us look a joke with us having so many problems with 30+ contracts already. It will make the ones we offered Lamps,JT etc look ridiculous. Theres TOP YOUNGER strikrs out there who would be amazing with us like Dominic Calvert-Lewin/Dembele/Aleksandar Mitrovic/Gaby Barbosa/Alexander Isak/Richarlison/Victor Osimhen /Edouard

If it is a matter of experience why go for Mertens when we have Giroud ? Mertens will be 33 next season. Why not just keep Giroud and go for a top striker. Naturally Michy should be sold.

Rice is to expensive i mean when Kante leave i would try to get Tonali or Zakaria. Or Keita( good Player but Liverpool as two much good players there.
