Ange Postecoglou has confirmed star defender Cameron Carter-Vickers will miss Celtic’s Champions League clash with RB Leipzig on Wednesday night.
Postecoglou arrived in Germany also without winger Liel Abada and midfielder Aaron Mooy.
The Celtic boss said: “Cameron wasn’t 100 per cent so he is not with the team.
“Liel Abada didn’t travel, obviously Carl Starfelt (is still out). Aaron Mooy had a bit of a niggle at training today so we left him behind.
Celts boss Postecoglou wants his side to repeat the displays of the games against Real Madrid and Shakhtar — but get a win this time.
He said: “There are definitely elements of their game that are like ours.
Both clubs are very aggressive in the way they attack and the way they defend. I like those kind of teams.
“The football I want us to play is because I believe it can be successful. But also because I think it is exciting and it’s what the fans want to see.
