Born in the U.S. to parents of Guatemalan and Salvadoran descent, Roldan left open the possibility of playing for all three nations and never put his hand over his heart when the “Star Spangled Banner” played before a match. That all changed on July 12, 2017, when the midfielder was handed his first appearance for the U.S. Men’s National Team.

  1. For Seattle Sounders: no. 7, so he is also another CR 7, for USA: started with no. 17, Ronaldo also played with no. 17 before he got no 7. So, maybe Cristian Roldan will be the new CR7 USA! 😛

  2. His path to pro is how America does sports lol. HS, College, pro. This way won't work anymore tho, especially if you want to play for the national team or in Europe's big leagues. This is why he'll never play beyond the MLS. Kids are going to top European Academies as young as 13. While he's playing HS & college soccer, the kid in Europe is making his debut at a big European club while getting paid @ 15-16yrs old.

  3. not going to lie but his mom seem she was extremely hot back in the days…..no joke……I truly mean it. she reminded me of a girl I wanted to date back in college…..
