FATV Exclusive – England’s U21 goalkeepers Ben Amos (Man Utd), Jack Butland (Birmingham) and Declan Rudd (Norwich) train ahead of their game against israel.
Before the England Under-21s team set off from their hotel in Hertfordshire to make the 156-mile trip to Barnsley for their meeting with Israel at Oakwell, FATV went close-up on the goalkeepers in training.
The Three Lions are preparing for their match on Monday night against the Euro 2013 hosts, which will come four days after their opening qualifying win over Azerbaijan at Watford.
In Saturday’s session, Goalkeeping Coach Martin Thomas put England’s three stoppers, Jack Butland – who claimed a debut clean sheet on Thursday, Ben Amos and Declan Rudd, through their places at London Colney.
The morning finished off with the usual penalty shoot-out, with the ‘keepers sometimes coming out on top.
