nobody knows what roughing the passer is.
Even a die hard, 8 hour watching all Sunday long nfl fan. Yet nobody, even the casual watcher knows without a shadow of a doubt, that was not intentional grounding.
Fuckin refs screwed us. I mean we probably would have lost anyway coz were trash this year but that doesnt mean the refs are absolute garbage.
That was a horrible call. Collinsworth called it out but the ref expert of course agreed with the call. The game is becoming unwatchable.
The only way to fix officiating is to reduce how much officiating is necessary. If a QB wants to throw the ball into the dirt to avoid a sack, so what? It's an incomplete pass and a loss of a down. Move on. Why does there need to be an intentional grounding rule to begin
Their was pressure it was a 0 blitz on that call.
Refs are terrible. The Bengals got a made FG taken away bc they called false start and nobody moved. That call cost the Bengals three points and the other call cost the bills a chance to try a FG kick. It's sad
Josh Allen sounds like a cry baby
Every time I watch football highlights or videos on Monday I am thankful I don’t watch anymore.
If they make it better officiated, then they can't influence outcomes, and Brady wouldn't have all of those Super Bowls.
They way the NFL, NBA and gambling are now linked… why isn’t Pete Rose in the HoF?
Grounding call was outrageous. Allen was not trying to avoid a sack. Unbelievable.
Burrow had a blatant grounding in thr 4rth quarter thay of course didnt get called…. The refs are so inconsistent across the league its hard to watch.
Tripping call missed
NFL needs to get the Refs straight, it's ruining the product
I Hope NFL fixes this, that’s one of biggest reason I stopped watching NBA- refs have most influence in NBA and league didn’t stop it
It Wasn’t the intentional grounding that cost them the game it was a Bengals that cost them the game.. and don’t forget it
Was it grounding? Dont think so. He threw over the receiver and that’s in the rule book. There were 12 calls or the lack there of that decided the game last nite. Interference’s, face masking, holding all on Cincinnati that were not called.
Also, 2 plays before this they failed to call a blatant tripping penalty on the Bengals. It was a leg on leg tackle.
And what about those ridiculous no-called tripping (just a play before the grounding call) and face-mask (in the end-zone) penalties? The Bills got robbed.
That didn’t cost the game Josh cost the game. Sit him down put in the other Allen. That’s what’s done in any other position when they’re not playing good football. Also, get rid of Von Miller. He can’t contain the edge when he rushes the QB and doesn’t get a sack. Waste of money on a has been.
Brady Quinn is spot on
Legit call, there was nobody within 20 yards lmao. That said, the NFL needs to fix officiating. Imagine being a bazillion dollar business and completely cheeping out on an integral part of the product that provides integrity. But, enough people keep watching so it really doesn't matter to them.
Also, they need to stop making women NFL officials that have zero big-level officiating experience (many have NO experience) just to virtue signal.
100% right. Refs are ruing these games. Fake ruffing the passer leads to Burrow getting 7 more points. Fake intentional grounding cost us 3 points. And how about a blanton trip on Dalton where he almost broke the kids leg kicking him. You can't win when your playing a team and the refs. You can call key penalties and times in the game to change the outcome
This is the best analysis of this situation that I've heard. Well done, Mr. Quinn! As a Bills fan, I can't take the huge number of "egregious" calls we've had to endure this year. Officiating this year has been horrendous all year! HORRENDOUS and yes gambling is DEFINITELY having an impact on these calls. I love the NFL but the refs have made it so frustrating to watch.
grounding was one play. Bulls LOST
We didn’t get one call that game.
Kincaid trip not flag
Gabe Davis face mask no flag
Intentional grounding horrible call
Bengals played better but these games come down to a handful of plays it’s disgusting to watch week in and week out
Don’t worry I’m on the verge of not watching soon
What mKes that worse is that 2 plays b4 everyone saw kincad get tripped, clear 15 yard penalty not called, bc it wasnt called clock kept running and kincade literally had to stay on the field hurt or bills get penalized and half basically ends
Main stream media went all in on claiming bills got saved by refs in both tb and ny games, if you actually watched those gamez refs collectively probably stopped allenfeom 300 yards and 5 tds loo, with fair officiating both games end in buffalo blowout. That being sad GO rewind 1 play in both games !!!! The play b4 the pi in the ny game oliver is tackled from behind preventing a sac and ending the game the same with tb, von miller is held preventing a clean sac ending the game, those two plays media wentcrazy on should not of even happen in the first place
When the nfl officiating is incredibly inconsistent but is incredibly consistent on who gets screwed over by the “inconsistent” officiating is not an accident its an agenda
Lol and whos grading the calls? Lolol its been consistently getting more obviously rigged each passing year, buffalo is the smallest market in the league
Lol on the deep ball hardy u coulda called hold illegal contact and pi, none were called
The refs were awful from when they called unsportsmanlike when Alen run in for the first TD…it was a good indication the refs will lose this game for the BILLS
Facts bs refs
And the rookie fumbling
Pos Quinn
Good call by the ref, they saw pressure coming from the right of Josh and the ball landed in the playing field.
Regardless of you take on the officiating, the result of this game has ZERO to do with the officials.
I have been one of the first, longest standing, and most out-spoken voices pointing out the poor officiating in the NFL, specifically. And there were certainly bad calls in this game ON BOTH SIDES = against both teams. This game's outcome was not at all impacted by the officials.
Face-mask on Davis in the end-zone was never called as well. Roughing the passer bogus. 2 field goals and a touchdown taken away. Bills would have won by 6. Bad officiating on prime time like Quinn said. Ruined the sport and gambling. Myself and friends lost interest in any prime time games the rest of the week or purchasing anything NFL related.
what about every pass intentionally thrown away out of bounds?
give coaches yellow flags to use like the red flag
Boo hoo Bills fans. The NFL has been bending over backwards for you for the past two years. They changed the OT rules for you, they gave you a home playoff game that you didn't earn, and they let you cancel a game last year. Stop your freaking whining. The NFL has been drooling over your team since Allen came along. Sorry Joe Burrow and the Bengals took what you want. Stop whining about one call and get better players. Who Dey!!!
Thank you for pointing out the poor officiating favoring the Bengals. How they never called that tripping penalty was a joke
Beware Bengals fans the tide will turn when you play your division rivals. You are sure to be crying wolf in one of those games!
Facemask on endzone never called WTF?!
IG cost 3 points…in that fact, after FG in second would make it one possession game!!!
Bengals lost points from some really bad calls as well.
