It’s only been a little over a month since the Los Angeles Lakers traded for Isaiah Thomas, but it’s clear that something is off. Last season, Thomas was a fringe MVP candidate, driving the Boston Celtics’ attack and captivating the league with his gutsy, unflappable play.
Whenever the Celtics needed a big shot in the fourth quarter, Thomas was there to step up. This season, however, he hasn’t been able to get his mojo back. A hip injury slowed him in the offseason, and with his contract expiring this summer, Thomas badly needs to start producing at somewhere close to his previous level.

I.T. yelling instructions to other Lakers is all about offense IMO. Who is yelling at him for his miserable defense and turnovers? Can't have it both ways I.T., better luck next year on another team.

Honestly, Lakers should've just paid Lou Williams instead of trading him :/ At least he embraces being the spark off the bench and can consistently put up numbers… Sometimes crazy numbers.

Lakers have such a good young core, it would be a shame to lose any of those uber young players. It would be nice to have Lonzo Ball, Josh Hart, Brandon Ingram, Julius Randle/Kyle Kuzma, Ivica Zubac back and greatly improved for next year. Randle at $15 million would probably be acceptable. I like Will Barton and Derrick Favors as possible free agents. What about Mario Hejonza from the Magic? He's still so young and improving a lot.
