    Raheem Sterling not named in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the 5th time in a row

    Gareth Southgate has again left Raheem Sterling out of his England squad despite the Chelsea winger’s club form, with Jordan Henderson and James Maddison both included.

    Sterling has started 10 of Chelsea’s 11 league matches this season, scoring three times, but has still not been picked by Southgate for his squad since the 2022 World Cup last November – and will now consider himself in severe danger of missing out on the European Championships next summer.

    Goalkeepers: Sam Johnstone (Crystal Palace), Jordan Pickford (Everton), Aaron Ramsdale (Arsenal).

    Defenders: Levi Colwill (Chelsea), Lewis Dunk (Brighton), Marc Guehi (Crystal Palace), Harry Maguire (Manchester United), Fikayi Tomori (AC Milan), Kieran Trippier (Newcastle), Kyle Walker (Manchester City).

    Midfielders: Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool), Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid), Conor Gallagher (Chelsea), Jordan Henderson (Al-Ettifaq), Kalvin Phillips (Manchester City), Declan Rice (Arsenal).

    Forwards: Jarrod Bowen (West Ham), Phil Foden (Manchester City), Jack Grealish (Manchester City), Harry Kane (Bayern Munich), James Maddison (Tottenham), Marcus Rashford (Manchester United), Bukayo Saka (Arsenal), Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa), Callum Wilson (Newcastle).

      Why show surprise the TAA is in the midfield positions … HE WAS ALSO in those positions in the last squad ??? THE ISSUE IS is that if this managers play Phillips INSTEAD of him then he HAS LOST THE PLOT …. MIDFIELD SOULD BE JB DR and TAA ….. WIN THE BLOODY GAMES ….

      English fans and being delusional…Spent the summer beforee last Euros asking for Grealish to get game time, dude went to City and the whole country wanted him out of the squad…Samer fans who wanted Sterling out of the English set up are same fans demanding for him to be called up….Who next?

      But he could call Arom Ramsdale and advise him to get game time but can you make Maguire case make sense whom hasn't played consistently for months until now and yet you pick him Gareth ?

      So he was willing to include Reece James but not Ben white. Says Ramsdale has to play more otherwise he won’t get called up in future squads, even though he has been in the squad a long time, which is the same excuse he used for Phillips and Maguire when they weren’t play as much.
