I get the idea that sacking Ten Hag isn’t going to fix all of the many layers of problems at Manchester United. However, we’ve now seen that he is struggling to use his desired signings (Casemiro the only exception), failed to maximize any of the existing talent, is yet to develop a consistent week-to-week philosophy for how they should play, and is struggling with the man-management of the team as well. He may not be problem number 1, but I don’t know how to look at this current situation and say he’s a clear part of the solution

Don't get me wrong Evans is a competent player. He put in a good shift.
But it does seem odd.
Sir Alex originally signed Johnny Evans. He signed Ronaldoz and De Gea.
De Gea was player of the season for many years. Ronaldo is one of the two greatest players of his generation. Perhaps of all time in his position.

i wonder if he is giving Maguire playing time in the hopes that some other team comes calling in January. And he is keeping Varane healthy for when Martinez or Shaw come back. Playing Maguire and Varane together clearly doesn't work for some reason. Maybe bc they are both right footed or both prefer playing from the right? who knows.
Why do these pundits ask stupid questions like why buy mason mount to be on bench?Obviously the reason to buy him was he will make team better,specially the midfield by replacing erikson but in reallity he made the team worst thats why he is not playing what you want manager to do put in players that he know has less chance of winnging the game with just because he signed them, the day he starts playing well he will be in the team.

I was so scared that Mason Mount would be at Chelsea for his whole career. He is such an awful player but he had some of the best PR ever that I thought we would be stuck with him at Chelsea. I’m so thankful he is gone. Horrible player.

For Amrabat, not sure how long he needs to settle but right now he is clearly still nervous and making those mistakes. Always passing the ball backwards just to avoid making mistakes so not really helping the team to pose any threat going forward

If Mount plays CDM role for Man U they’re going to continue losing. Not his role, definitely not his position. You could do that with Lampard maybe Gerard but Mount is not that guy
Managers bought Mount, Havertz, Jorginho, and Kovacic to get the 'best' of Chelsea but it was because there was enough quality and chemistry in the whole team/squad that they got all those top fours and finals. I wasn't exactly desperate for any of these to join or stay but with the CL win it kind of worked out…
