Hibernian fans and players, along with their opponents Aberdeen, pay tribute to former midfielder Liam Miller following his sad passing at the age of 36. Ex Celtic, Manchester United, Leeds and Sunderland star Miller played for Hibs between 2009 and 2011, and was named in the PFA Scotland Team of the Year for his performances during the 2009-10 season, which included a goal against Aberdeen in a 2-0 win at Easter Road – one of seven goals he scored during his time at the Hibees. He was also a teammate of current Hibernian manager Neil Lennon during their time at Celtic. The Hoops paid their own tribute to the player before their Scottish Cup tie with Partick Thistle at Celtic Park.

  1. Always hated the round of applause, would much prefer to see people pay a minute's silence for someone who has passed away. So tragic, what a fine player Liam Miller was xx
