Do ya really think he was a horrible GM? He developed a lot of good players that could have made a good team if he was still GM and the Knicks kept those players after his termination. Maybe bad signings but good draft picks.

Nothing could save the Knicks, too many expectations
No disrespect to Zeke but I think he's a perfect example of not every former player especially a Hall of Fame talent like him can't be successful although there are a few exceptions like with Jason Kidd recently leading the Mavs to the 2022 Western Conference Finals and of course Larry Bird who took the Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals in all 3 seasons as coach including a Finals appearance in 2000.
