      If the manager continually insists on picking this waster, then play him on our left, equally Rashford on our right so that they can both beat their defenders on the outside and cross for our starved striker Hojlund!! No wonder he’s not scoring. This simple solution is on you ten Hag! Currently our worst signing ever!

      I’d give Antony some time off. He needs to put himself together and work out some form. Rn he’s got no confidence, no new tricks to surprise defenders with. And worst of all he can’t neither pull out his “classic” moves, nor make a decent pass.
      Meanwhile Pellistri should be given more game time. Hopefully, with Amad

      Maybe when ETH first came in he wanted to play a possession based game (saw it last season) but has now realized these players won’t cut it and now Antony is caught in the middle of not playing that game and is lacking transitioning into a new type of game 🤷🏽‍♂️

      Antony is woeful in a system designed for transition. I can see him being pretty good in a technical passing team, as his little passes into,space in and around the box are great at times. Overall, he is currently so poor, he needs to be gone. Or put him on the left for a while, or left of a midfield maybe.

      I've been saying from last season Antony needs to play central…the qualities he does have will not be affected too much …especially his curling shot, he can't play on the left and he is no Jaun Mata who was able to play wide right by playing through the lines and progressing the football even though he was neither fast or powerful.

      Ten Hag should realize his mistake that Anthony Santos isn't working for the team and move him out on Loan for a Season at least.
      But knowing Ten Hag's Stubbornness, I highly doubt that.

      Antony wasn't even lighting up the Dutch league G/A-wise, and he never passed the eye test while playing for Ajax. this just comes down to poor squad building by the recruitment team. Playing Antony centrally would be a disaster he can't pick out cute passes and often over-hits his passes he was doing these things last season as well. united should sell him to the Saudis

      Antony needs to be dropped! Having a bad performance week in and out while being guaranteed a starting position just for 'spirit' has done him worse. He needs to be benched for couple of games and eased in to build his confidence! Boy has talent but seems to be under pressure!

      Even if him and Rashford swapped wings and crossed the ball then Hojlund would at least get some service and they’d have some end product. I can’t stand Antony. The most predictable player I’ve ever seen. Just not good enough for the Prem unfortunately.

      In my opinion, Antony hasn't proven to be a good player for Manchester United. Having observed him since he joined the team, there have been very few moments where I've been genuinely impressed by his ball-carrying abilities. He tends to be quite predictable, and his footballing instincts appear to be lacking. While one might argue that he contributes defensively by tracking back, in contemporary football, this is an expected part of a winger's role. Ideally, a winger should excel at dribbling and pose a threat to the opposition's fullbacks, or at the very least, create scoring opportunities for teammates. Unfortunately, Antony has not consistently demonstrated these attributes…
