I hope we (Chelsea) get dest on a loan with an option to buy before deadline day or on deadline day. He fits our football to a tee and if the buy option is for like 35-40m then we can’t complain, especially if he does great for us. His versatility all round fits what we need and is exactly what tuchel wants in that role. A winger-like fullback, that can cross, skill, and dribble, as well as link up play all the time. It makes sense completely for us, but I wouldn’t even be surprised if we don’t get him. We need to get in aubameyang already and especially get in a CDM before thinking about a fullback competition for Reece James. But we definitely either way should go for him if all else fails, because at least our defense will be set, fully, and if we gotta win games 1-0, then so be it!!!
