Eden Hazard has retired at just 32 years of age. A talent that doesn’t come by very often in a generation, you can’t help but feel that he was taken from the pitch far too early, but a career of riding punishing tackles has finally taken its toll. In fact, we hadn’t seen the real Eden Hazard for the past 4 years due to injuries compounding from his career.

But, Eden Hazard wasn’t just talented, but his approach to football was refreshing: he never took himself or the sport too seriously, he toed the line of playing football for fun, while also being an elite professional, and broke the mould in doing so.

  1. Eden Hazard was the closest thing we could have to seeing Messi in the Premier League. He was truly magical and joy. He was my hero as a Chelsea fan and he gave me joy throughout my childhood and teen years.

  2. I still have the thought of…. Hazard to United back in 2012 ish.
The deal almost happened, I had that dream of Hazard Kagawa Nani Rooney

Mate……. I know we signed RVP, but man, what a front 4 that would have been!!

  3. This channel deserves more subs and views honestly. Your videos are always on point.

Hazard is the greatest player I've ever seen as a Chelsea fan and that's saying something considering I've seen the likes of Zola, Drogba, Lampard, Febregas, Robben, Mata and Anelka play for my team.

  4. Had an Eden Hazard poster back in like 2012 or 2013. Bro was such a baller for several seasons. Shame he couldn’t do it for Madrid but still a legend of the game! 🙌🏻💯

  5. Hope that you had a blast at the wedding. It's strange when people describe Hazard as having "failed" as what he won is impressive and far beyond the dreams of many players. Perhaps he didn't meet the hunger and desire that people had when going to Real, sometimes expectation can be too much though and a league and domestic cup, as well as European Cup and Super Cup should answer critcs – but they didn't as the expectations were too high. As a neutral, though, I/we got to enjoy what you so acurately describe as an entertainer, the game has lost so many of them and really needs them.

  6. Hazard shouldn’t have left Chelsea where they appreciate his talent and his attitude.

In Real Madrid, their work ethic is very high and they are so serious in winning every time, it takes players with special mentality to succeed there.

Hazard is a free spirited player and needs to be free. Most probably in Real Madrid the demand is too much that he doesn’t enjoy himself. It’s quite sad actually. He wanted to leave because as a young boy he dreamt to play for Real Madrid. But not everyone can and able to sustain the high pressure.

  7. First off Congratulations on getting married 🙏🏾 Second man that cameo he made against Celtic last year gave me hope that it was gonna be some sort of turning point I’m sad it didn’t work out 🥲

  8. He definitely got kicked a lot but nobody will ever say he trained hard. He played to have fun. I don’t even think he followed instructions. Oh well. It was fun while it lasted

  9. He reminds me a bit of larry bird, had a great carrer for a decade, one ot the best in the world, but retired in his ealry 30's, due to injuries.

In Bird's case was because of his back, which started when he hurt himself while building his mom a driveway, dude was so fucked he couldnt sit on the bench due to the pain, he'd instead lay on his stomach on the sidelines
