    The Brazilian superstar, in his 2nd season at Old Trafford after arriving from Real Madrid, has been way short of his best this campaign and Ten Hag is now reportedly considering replacing him with Benfica’s Joao Neves being lined up as a possible alternative.

      The season he had last time around wasn't a fluke I think Casemiro is one of the best defensive midfielders of his generation, but in my opinion it was obvious to many people that he should've never left Real Madrid for Manchester United. Real Madrid is one of the best teams in European football and had won 5 champions league titles in 10 years including a 3peat from 2016-2018 and after he won another champions league title in 2022, he left them to join Manchester United and while his first season was excellent, this season he's nowhere near his best and he went from playing on a world class team to a very dysfunctional team and that has affected his performances, age could possibly be catching up with him maybe, but from a pure footballing perspective, Casemiro made a mistake in leaving Real Madrid and even if his first season was very good after his departure, he at Manchester United is finding out that the grass isn't always greener on the other side.

      Is he past his best, based off of this season it looks like, I have every feeling he's capable of rediscovering his best form, I don't want to write him off as finished and while his struggles look like his fault, the reality is at Manchester United, you can quickly go from a world class player to an average player and that might be happening with Casemiro right now.

      casemiro works best in a team of midfields who can play different positions, for example kroos can play cdm and so could ceballos, no one in man united's midfield can defend as they're all attacking midfielders, ambrat is a cdm but since he's just started playing they don't have that chemistry yet, thats why in the wolves game casemiro was in a 4v1 the entire game cause bruno and mount can't do anything

      Are you guys for real???casemiro played good….ffs he scored 4 goals and had 3 assists as a cdm!!!!and you guys are picking on him????they need someone to replace Ericksen he was the one who playd bad!!!!Casemiro was ok not great but he did his job and might i add played with injury in a match!!we.need the backline to be refreshed!!!!1-2-3 defenders!!!and a Cm…..this is bullshit picking on Casemiro!!!!

      This just goes to show how spineless United are. If one of their best players in in some kind of rough patch, they’ll betray them and sign someone better.

      I don’t know why they didn’t go for a player like Wilfred Ndidi when he went down with Leicester. At the very least he’d be a good backup to casemiro and at his best he could probably replace him
