Arsenal actively seeks to bolster their Premier League title bid by setting their sights on Orlando City’s star forward, Facundo Torres.

The Gunners view the Uruguayan prodigy as a potential backup to Bukayo Saka with plenty of untapped potentials.

Reports suggest that talks between the two sides began in the fall, and Torres has confirmed discussions.

In the 2022 season, Torres emerged as a standout player, leading Orlando City to a U.S. Open Cup title and earning a club-record transfer fee when he joined from Penarol last January.

He quickly adapted to MLS, scoring nine goals and ten assists in 33 appearances.

As the MLS preseason begins and Orlando City prepares to open their campaign against the New York Red Bulls, Torres has expressed his desire to play in the Premier League, leaving the door open for a potential move to Arsenal.
