Gonna be a tough match – 1-0. The travel issues, on the road in CL and lineup choices with City on Sunday are my concerns.

Glad your feeling better. Its mad cos ive had a delhi belly myself hence why ive not watched a show for three days . On a different subject the state of officiating in the prem. It's madness that this is allowed to carry on. Last season we had to my recollection four apologies for poor decisions which resulted in us losing points. Im not saying we would of definately won the league. But i do know that if those were correct decisions. We would of been going into the last three games of the season still in the lead regardless of the points dropped against West Ham and southampton. Its typical now its Liverpool everyone is talking about the what ifs and maybes when last season nobody apart from us gave a flying you know what. Anyway rant over as you can tell im still harbouring a resentment towards unfair decisions 😂.
Tom, I couldn’t disagree more with the team you picked for the game against Lens this evening. Even though you claim that by fielding a weakened team that you are not disrespecting Lens, I believe that you are definitely underestimating their potential to cause a very difficult tie. Personally, I’m not looking over the horizon at the Man City game as my philosophy is that the next game is always the most important. Also that game is on Sunday at home i.e. five days away. Therefore, I’d go with a very strong team and if we get into a significant lead in the tie, we can take players off to rest them.
I don't think we roll over lens so easily. They have one if the best defences in their league. Although they are in poor form they dont get spanked like we did to psv hardly ever. It will be a physical battle and i do think we need to play a strong team regardless of who we play the weekend. Im all for resting saka and benny but not five or six changes unless we absolutely have too.

I know we want to win this match, but shouldn't we give Ben White some much-needed rest? Whether we sub him early if winning or if we were not to start him, I would want him at his best for the match against City on the weekend. Thoughts? Also, any word on Martinelli's recovery, return to training, or availability for the City tie?
Arsenal with the win. Lens will be tough but I think they cannot contain Arsenal for a full 90 minutes. At some point that brick wall will crumble.
@Tom – If you make it to Seville for the match I recommend Sevilla's red and gold away top. I bought one while there for a holiday, though I found I needed an XL when I'm usually a L for our kits. It's a great city for drinking and eating so it's worth staying an extra night.
