I think we should really, actually think outside the box cuz we should not try and make same mistakes we did with Marco Marin, DeBruyne, Rice, Salah. We didn't believe in them enough to boost their confidence and now look at them, what I'm try na say here is that we should not look at the position of Gosens and his name only but look out for the system he plays and and his capabilities in order to fit into our team. He will be one of the best in two years, everybody save this comment
I'm not a Gosens fan but looking at this German lad he plays in similar total attacking style of football in Italy with Atalanta. He can do same for Chelsea, save this comment all.
Alonso's weakness is not only his pace but unnecessary fouls. He does not commit them due to his pace but lack of knowledge on how to take the ball from the attacker. He does not have a defensive mind at all.
He's a left sided midfielder that has been playing LB all season. Defensively he isn't great and his work rate isn't exactly amazing either. Tagliafico is better all round defensively, what Chelsea need at the moment is a reliable solid defensive LB. Gosens isn't the answer to our problem right now.
