  1. we let too many of our academy players go. Palmer, Borges & Lavia should all still be here
lol, some of the people you're replying to on this video, fuck me, daft or what. You have to break down and explain every sentence for the Mahrez lovers

  2. I have some serious questions about how we manage outgoings.. There's alot to be desired… There's very little pathway to the first team for academy graduates and let's all be honest, Foden still hasn't been able to nail down a spot under Pep.. The club quite frankly prefers recruiting 1st team players than promoting from within.. Its a such a short term plan particularly when we are stubborn about paying over the odds but still did that with Grealish though.. Its puzzling

  3. I’m not too upset with Palmer going. Good player lots of potential but so one footed and just hasn’t done enough to impress Pep otherwise he wouldn’t be going. 50 mil is greaaat business. Not the most popular take but if we wanted out and wasn’t blowing pep away…sorry but bye

  4. Especially for him to go to Chelsea hurts man.. I worry how the people there will treat him. I genuinely want him to succeed as well. Felt like City have really got it wrong with this one, not on the business front, but regarding the fans and connection that Palmer had with the club.

  5. Palmer might have a high celling but apparently Pep wasnt convinced of him outside of the training ground. And that amt of money proved good for his worth so maybe they decided to cash in and oscar bobb is there to replace him. i guess my issue is he needs more game time to really see his true potential and hoepfully there's a buyback or something

  6. When we let go of Carlos Borges go when we needed a winger I knew our academy players don't really have a chance to break through. Let's just hope we can get them all back once pep ends his time with City. Love City but this is one of the negatives of the success of the past decade.

  7. I understand people being sad about it and having attachment to a local lad but I think he was terrible all last season with terrible passing and poor decision making every time he came on. Two goals in pre-season are really glossing over the fact he currently doesn't have the quality at our level. 6 career goals in all competitions is hardly a sign of a great attacking player and the idea he's costing more than Mac Allister and not much less than Tonalli is insane for a player who has barely played. It's an amazing bit of business that we simply couldn't turn down. The main problem for me is we are once again lacking player depth and we need another one now which clearly isn't going to happen before January.

  8. This is why we are where clubs want to be. Palmer is a good player but not a great player (yet) deep down us city fans know he’s no Foden or Lewis. And that’s the standard we set now. This is big club mentality lads!! It’s just cos he’s from the academy it hits harder. Palmer out nunes in and Doku already in place is great business . In fact amazing
