Any athlete with the behavior that he displayed should by default NOT be considered for winning a trophy like this.. but what is funny is the rationalization of his fans .. saying that he probably likes the negative press and gets energy from being booed.. nobody in their heart of hearts likes that, but this guy is richly deserving of it.

no hate to martinez or anything but I really think alisson deserved it more, by statistic, alisson saved 107 and got 14 cleansheet for liverpool in premier league 2022/2023 season, compared to martinez 98 save and 11 cleansheet for aston villa, also alisson got 5 save and 2 cleansheet for brazil in world cup, compared to martinez's 7 save and 3 cleansheet, considering that brazil only made it to quarter final, so overall i think alisson deserved it more than emi tbh
