The next man to take over David Moyes’ role with Everton has large shoes to fill. Chairman Bill Kenwright hopes Roberto Martinez is that next guy to manage his club to success. Martinez, 39, has previous experience with Swansea City and Wigan, winning an FA Cup title against revenue-heavy Manchester City. Is he the right man to manage the Toffees?

  1. it is a quote, its a mural on the wall at Taffs tavern signed by David Moyes himself, google it if you dont believe me. Do i think Suarez is as good as Messi? no, but he is certainly in the top 5 strikers in europe this season.

  2. By who though? Not Moyes. He just signed it because someone probably asked him to. I like how you're buzzing off it though. All the above were quotes from Rodgers, all in the first few months of taking over. Sure, Suarez is boss, but he's also the biggest snide in the game and he's about to kick der biggest klub in der werld to the curb so I don't know why you're still buzzing off him tbh. He couldn't give a shit about you even after you blindly supported him when clearly he didn't deserve it.

  3. If Suarez goes he goes, im fine either way with taking Madrids money, Football is a mercenaries game and has been for years so im not bothered by it at all. Just like Baines and Fellaini with his elbows will do for you one day soon. And yes we did support him, just like you did with 'Big Dunc'. Its called being a supporter.

  4. Did Dunc jib us off though, at any point? No, he got the crest tattooed on himself and he's back here coaching today. Different type of snide completely. Baines is going nowhere. He'll finish the best of his playing days here. He turned United down last summer and Moyes has admitted a "Hands-off" deal with them. Fellaini will go. That really is fine though. 5 years he's been here and we'll get a good fee. He was below par the second half of last season as well. I don't think he's essential here

  5. I happen to think they can achieve that at the club they're at.
Maybe you could get players from your academy instead of treating 'smaller' clubs in the league like a pick n mix.

  6. He brought both players to Everton. You guys can keep Mourane, Fàbregas is a better option there, but Baines was on Fergie's list and Moyes has to be eying him too.

Also, stop dreaming. Everton is the 6th best team in the EPL behind the big 3 (United, City and Chelsea) and the last two. (Arsenal and Tottenham) .

  7. Everton scouts found them, brought them to Moyes' attention and then they were signed. You're letting us keep our player? Aw, thanks….

P.S. I'm not going to take abuse about who's better from a glory hunter.

  8. nice! robbies been all class for wigan and I hope roberto does well in everton.

Very underrated manager and he is a great pickup for everton

also fun fact: rodgers, villas boas, and clarke were all assistants to jose mourinho during his chelsea days

  9. lol why would Fabregas go to ManU they don't playh good football. They scrambled to the title last season by a mixture of luck and poor performances from tital rivals. United will finish 3rd or 2nd next season. And as far as the champions league is concerned they look less and less likely to win every year. How many world class players are at united these days? not many is the answer to that.

  10. stop dreaming? WTF are you on about stop dreaming? Every football fan has a God given right to dream about their team's aspirations and you've got no authority to tell anyone to stop dreaming you…you Fucktard!
