  1. Completely agree with Stephen. I am a Wolves fan and at first glance, I thought, oh know, what you done Hwang, kick it out but seeing the replay, it is so obvious it was not a pen, I actually thought the VAR officials were going to say to Anthony, you need to go to the monitor and check this, I think you have got this wrong, but yet again, Wolves getting the decisions against us, its just a disgrace, we always get peonalised for everything and just sick of it. There job is not hard, a monkey could do it, they just hate Wolves and the lower teams and just want the top teams winning games, thats it, or they are being bribed by club representatives. Enough is enough.

  2. The ref on the pitch gave a pen, we have banged on about on field decisions yet then moan when we get them. I'm lost with the changing of what we supposedly want from pundits, as inconsistent as blind refs.

  3. VAR was built on the fallacy that you could eliminate human error using technology. The irony is, the technology does its job but the fallible human element remains. The whole thing was dumb from the start to any logical mind.

  4. Agree with Rugby Union comments. Open, honest debate goes on between referee, the VAR staff and touch judge. Crucially, this is all on audio for fans to understand why the final decision is made. Why the secrecy in football, why are referees protected so much?. Everyone makes mistakes, but the premise of clear and obvious is now a joke. Don’t get me started on how long it takes in Football. Learn from other sports it’s called progress, not assume that football knows it all. And for added time, again use Rugby as an example.

  5. I don’t know why we don’t just use VAR in a similar way tennis use it’s technology. Just have it where each team is allowed 3 “challenges” per half so they can “challenge” a decision if they feel like it’s categorically wrong. The ref then goes over to the screen (with nobody in his ear) looks at all the available replays and then gives their revised decision. Just my opinion, surely would work better than what we have now 🤷🏽‍♂️

  6. Dermot Gallagher, Mike Dean, Peter Walton all absolute 🤡

They simply agree with the on field decision every time, as they don’t want to undermine referees as a whole

Absolutely shocking how inconsistent their opinions are with the benefit of time and all the angles ect

  7. Howard Webb was very clever not to make any promises regarding VAR specifically. We are all in love with his 'transparency' and his candour. He seems to have charmed us into thinking that we care more about transparency and protecting the refs from meanie footballers than we do about making sane, correct decisions.

  8. The same old, same old! Everyone was going mad when Liverpool had a good goal disallowed, but Wolves have had several bad decisions go against them! This is an absolute joke! VAR or the people running it are NOT doing their jobs properly! Complete joke!
