He played really well
OMG AHHHHHHH WOW GAH
Great convo, Endo is a good squad depth player – next yr we'll be back in UCL and will rely more on depth. Andre looks like he's coming, and Gravvy is a must start now.
He should get more minutes his awareness is impressive and him using his strength to protect the ball is incredible
Not a chance. Use him in cup games and Europa league and maybe to close out games but he’s too rigid in possession.
He can’t turn or receive the ball as a 6. And we’re almost always in possession.
My best option is Bajcetic. But Klopp never plays him. If not Bajcetic, I think Jones next to Macca’s the best option.
Curt keeps the ball moving and doesn’t ruin the rhythm of the game.
Endo looks like he found his rhythm in this team was great to hear the commentator thoughts on Endo from watching him play in Germany…a lot of takes on Endo is on the unknown aspect of his game play.
Just rotate with the CDMs we have already, they are all good. For very hard matches, André should be the man.
But then will McAlister acept being a sub?
Also give Bajcetic more time on field. He has inmense potential
ive been saying it for sooo long, levels above macallister in the no6 position. His stats in the bundesliga speak for themselves
Too harsh here boys. The man’s not played enough cuz we’ve got so many quality midfielders now every time he’s played especially in the cup and Europa he’s been quality obviously some improvement to be made but he’s playing better than Fabinho was last year already
well at least endo is getting something on the ball, the guys the captain of his national team.cant see how their is any doubt here, lfc fans should be backing him 100% along with klopp.mcallister doesnt get anywhere near the ball defensively…ever
"Does Endo Deserve More Minutes Following Toulouse Performance?"
in a word…Yes!
Liverpool aren't benching Dominik Szoboszlai, Curtis Jones has been brilliant this season when he's gotten chances, Ryan Gravenberch has been worth every penny so far and Alexis Mac Callister as good of a player he is, the reality is he's yet to hit his best form for Liverpool and many factor his lackluster performances for them down to the fact that he's playing in a role that doesn't suit him and while Endo had a slow start, his performance against Toulouse was incredible with his goal and in that defensive midfield position he had a very good game.
I think in the premier league, he has to either start or play more because I feel like if Endo starts for Liverpool, their midfield will be well balanced and while he isn't a top caliber defensive midfielder, they have someone who is able to fill in when needed to and can excel defensively and win the ball back and this means that Alexis Mac Callister can be used as a number 8 and maybe his performances will improve if he's a central midfielder with more attacking responsibility while also fulfilling his defensive duties, playing Endo should bring out the best in Macca and protect their back 4 because he's their only natural defensive midfielder in the team and with this latest performance Jurgen Klopp might have to give him more minutes in the premier league and also Liverpool might still sign another defensive midfielder, they just have to put their trust in him.
Need to play Mac on the left, Endo in the middle, Sobo on the right. I'd like to see that for a few games.
Waturendo (deep, growling voice)…. samurai👊
Endo has never been off the Mark any more than your favorite player. He’s the real deal
He is a world class number 6
Short answer: yes. Good points made here. Some diss his "pedigree" or some other rubbish but he strikes me as a Klopp-type player. A tough, hard-working fighter. Also, at Stuttgart, he's been just as involved up front, making these line-breaking passes we saw some of today. He always makes himself available and, although he seems a bit averse to get carded in earlier games, it looks like he's more willing to bite more into a 1-v-1s. He will whiff some sure but he's up for it. If he can work on his timings a bit he'll be a monster play-breaker.
Feels like Andre is overkill , we have maca ,jones ,ryan bajetic, dom ,endo feels like gonna unsettle one of the guys. Unless DOMs play RW which is his position with Leipzig as the salah replacement.
errol could not have said it better. i would love to see endo to be faster on the tackle. I think he will continue to adjust to the prem in a positive way
club football is faster than international football. But endo can learn the speed of the premier league. I trust him
Obviously, these guys have not seen the Japanese team's performance lately lead by Endo.
Endo is never in doubt in my books
If I remember correctly, Endo was kinda known for winning headers despite his height during his time in Bundesliga……. or maybe I'm mistaken idk
Agree with Errol. Endo has impressed me offensively, but his defensive tackles have left something to be desired. Weirdly, his positioning tends to be decent, but he rarely wins the tackle, nor does he do the shizhouzery cynical tackle as much as Fab or Thiago do, sort of like how Hendo was always a little hesitant to do that cynical tackle.
Endo was quality tonight. What I like most about him is first intention is to pass forward, hardly any sodeway passing .
