Arsenal need holding midfielder who can play along side Rice and Jorgino is not the answer for it. They need partey type player who is not injury prone and consistent. They were supposed to sign such player in the summer instead of Kai Havertz because they don't actually need Kai Havertz type of player and the other players (Odegaard, Fabio Viera, Emile smith Row, etc) can play like Havertz. They must sort out the problem at holding midfielder or defensive midfielder then the goal keeper issue is alos another problem. Raya is very nerveious and he will cost them in big match unless they find another goalkeeper if Arteta dont want to play Romsdale
I think we played well last night except for the last 10min, it was a measured performance.
Rice and Tomi were excellent and Arteta need to put Party back in, we are missing him.

I totally disagree with you DT. It wasn’t a poor performance. It was a good away performance in a very difficult away ground. Although I agree we aren’t as fluid as we were last season.
What's Arteta doing? Ramsdel is far better. If he continues to use Raya, we would be about easily by round of 16
AR has been consistently doing mistakes in nearly all the games of last season and those of the current one. Actually you cannot see them because in England you have a rather poor knowledge of goalkeeping.
This being said. he remains a good average GK.

Revisionism, Ramsdale had an error in almost all the games he played. I think Raya is an easy target at the moment for anyone who wants interaction. Raya has twice as many clean sheets than Ramsdale after the same amount of games.

About fluidity, simple: We miss Partey. Meanwhile, I literally counted…Raya, with his 'great ball distribution and kicking', gave the ball directly to the opponent at least five times! I feel he is just learning to play from the back and nothing special about him in that regard, yet that was partly why he was brought in. I swear, he is not an upgrade. He is a good keeper, but not an upgrade and also not ready to start ahead of Ramsdale.

Raya was a bit shaky but he is asked to play with more risk than Ramsdale who constantly kicks it out and its inaccurate.

The way we're playing this season is on purpose. It's not due to partey being out or any one player. It's a tactical change arteta has made. It seems he wants to retain more possession and build up attacks carefully and slowly. Notice how theres a reluctunce to play more risky balls and the passing is slower. I think this is to reduce the chances of giving the ball away and being caught on the counter attack and if we do give it away we have players in the proper positions to be able to deal with that counter attack effectively. The downside is we're not creating as many chances as last season. However it's defences that win titles and was the reason we missed out last season despite scoring 88 goals which is more than any premier league arsenal winning side
I believe what's missing is Xhaka, Partey and an in form Oodegard…Rice makes up for some of it but not all…also Partey used to break the lines
For me, Aaron Ramsdale is simply a better goalkeeper than Raya. This mistakes and playing tikitaki with defenders will cost us. And the disrespect Arteta is showing to Ramsdale not playing him even FA cup games will end up Ramsdale leaving Arsenal this winter or next summer😠
