Is there any kind of benefit to stepping in with the back foot first? I've seen Canelo and Benavidez do it and I wonder if it serves a purpose or if it's just one of those times a fighter gets away with doing something wrong because they are very good at other things. Great breakdown btw.
Hey boxing gems i been a fan of boxing since i was a young kid but never really understood the ins and outs of the sport necessarily. Watching your channel has given me better understanding and appreciation for all the technical aspects. In particular ive learned how important positioning and timing are as well as bad habits to avoid in the ring such as pendulum steps and cross stepping. Thanks for the help
