  1. Isn't Brazil the S. American country where men can avoid going to prison for killing their wives if the woman was found to have cheated on him? It's like "Honor Killings" in some Muslim countries… (something like "Machismo Murders?"). Brazil, though, is known for being incredibly misogynistic, soooo…

Also, your messages can show that the conversations between a man and woman led to consensual sex BUT that does NOT omit sexual abuse from happening. However, just from the inability of ANYONE in the press to note this, we can see which way the thinking around these charges goes.

  2. It's a difficult thing with having players suspended because of someone accusing them of something. Where do you draw the line for what type of allegations a player needs to be suspended for? And should there be any kind of consideration as to how "strong" the accusations are (as in how likely they are to be true)? I mean what if the police gets an anonymous tip saying Bruno is a rapist the day before every home game. Should he be suspended every time while waiting for the police to dismiss it? Of course that's an exaggeration only to get the point across.

In the case of Greenwood there was all this public "evidence" that pretty much made him a PR liability. So even if United might have wanted to have him playing at some point during his investigation, their hand was forced by the fans. I think in that case the outcome was the correct one. But I'm not sure what the general solution should be. I would've been fuming if I saw Greenwood on the pitch. But I don't think I have the same feeling about Antony. With that said I'm not at all sure he's innocent. But I was pretty sure Mason was guilty…

  3. What is Jay on about stating the "club has to be right on this"? What a load of nonsense. Suspending players purely off an accusation is dangerous and reckless. You cant set that as a precedent.

  4. I don’t reallly understand the confusion. He was accused by 3 women was interviewed by Brazilian and British police. They can’t stop him from living his life without a guilty verdict. I hate this new cancel culture.

  5. Greenwood was charged. Antony has been accused. If Antony is eventually charged then he will be suspended by United. Simple. It's not that hard to see the difference.

  6. Regarding being charged or not in the difference. Its worth remembering theres far to many cases of wrongful conviction based off dodgy evidence yet because Mason was charged not even found guilty these guys think its okay to cancel him without all the facts. Wahey. Top reds.

Then you have a legend of the game karate kicking a fan and everyone heralds him actual physical violence.

  7. Finally starting to get most of our main squad fit and available again. Just needs Sancho to apologise and Varane to manage to stay Injury Free for the rest of the season from his return next month.

  8. It ain't over till the fat lady sings. This is always how it's meant to play out & it's important we're not swayed by media/activist group pressure. In a civil legal society it's meant to be like this. Eeven if he is charged & bailed later on he shouldn't be suspended till he's on trial which can take years. Greenwood saga was only different due to vast graphic evidence posted online before police involvement.

  9. I hate the tone of the analysis, it's mostly feministy! One-sided does not respect the intricacies of the cases and of the due processes. One would perceive that the intention is to divide the fan base once again.

  10. It’s for sone or other reason, his not been found guilty of anything one person already withdrew . Stop blending judge and jury this is what happened to Mason .

  11. What do you want he flipping went to the police in Brazil in England. Why not make statement against false accusations to why only support GBV why not we also strongly condemn false accusations .

  12. As a fan happy to get a player back but at the same time how is this not favoritism, in the past players couldn't return until legal issues were fully resolved !! Seems SANCHO had a point !

  13. He has not been charged with anything in Brazil. He's been allowed to fly back here. He's Co operated with the UK police. And again has not been charged with anything. WHY should he not go back to training. It's his job. Get off his back and try backing him. Can't believe you see it, surprising, a guy not actually charged with anything, returning to work. Get over it and try backing our player. 😠.

  14. maybe its looking like the accusations have no foundation and if thats the case then its only right that he resumes his life. Also your assumption that it was Anthony's decision is just that, an assumption and your viewers seem to be taking it as fact judging by the comments

  15. Football is a short career. If he is innocent, it isn’t fair to remove him from his job for an investigation that could take a long period. If he is guilty, hopefully he is found guilty and punished accordingly. Until then, or barring irrefutable evidence as seen with greenwood, he should be allowed play.

  16. If we go down the route that people shouldn't be allowed to work based on allegations, there's literally nothing to stop people taking advantage and abusing this system.

Innocent until proven guilty is a cornerstone of our society and justice system. The problem historically was people not being able to pursue their allegations. Both can be done. She cma be protected whilst this is investigated and should be free from any condemnation but so should he. Once facts are laid out and a case is made them condemning either party is incorrect.

You could literally pay someone to level some charges at the city squad and what? Have more than half of their squad wiped out for weeks or months?

Stop talking about what should be private legal proceedings. It's fine to clarify if he's available or not but absolute muppet on the Internet don't need to be drawing conclusions, whichever side they decide to go with. Both her and him will be getting pelters when in reality, neither should until am investigation is completed.

It's really simple. Stop drawing conclusions and gossiping about things you have basically zero information regarding. It's irresponsible and can very easily be dangerous.

  17. Players need protection. Remember they are just turning into adults

18+ and your earning more than your parents and 99% of the rest of humanity. And there is people out there who will do anything to make money off them, immature men do stupid things.

  18. Let’s be honest… he has been poor. Pellistri’s cameo against a weakens palace side was good… let’s see what he or mount can do in the league…. I think he should win his place back

  19. To anyone comparing this to Greenwood, keep in mind Greenwood has been found innocent in court and there are further evidence that you don't have access to.

  20. One of his accusers came out and confessed she was lying to get back at him then started fighting his corner 😢 footballers need protecting against money grabbers

  21. Sick of YouTubers using these accusations as an opportunity to virtue signal. Stick to the football. Rather than participating in this cancel culture and social media judge and jury.

  22. What is going on in Manchester anyone? Because Benjamin Mendy (former Man City player) was cleared of his five charges that he faced in court. Antony has not been charged with anything either.
