Since when was a sliding tackle through the back of a player not a red? I’d say the eighties. There is no excuse for not giving the red.

Oliver need to be investigated for fraud. The is a clear conflict of intrest if Oliver is being paid to ref in the UAE. Oliver also sent Martinelli for 2 yellow cards in the same passge of play last season. He is definitely at-it.
Kelvin Phillips is never gunna get a game unless he leave Man City alternatively he could say they collect his medals for sitting on the bench and doing nothing just like hazard did at Real Madrid

Michael Oliver and his pair of useless puppets need to be interviewed about their shocking application of the rules. Kovacic was allowed to ‘do’ Odegaard all of us who played football know that. Much worse than the tackle by Curtis Jones. PGMOL will get away with this because we won but they shouldn’t.
The refs were clearly under instruction this week to use var as least as possible. Meaning less chance of them messing up but by doing this they have missed a couple of bad 1s again

This same Ref awarded red card to Martinelli for run of play but refused to give a red card for two dangerous red card independent fouls🤔. Michael Oliver is arrogant and wants to always be in control.

I am a Arsenal fan but I don't get the Declan Rice hype. He played as an left 8 in this match and going forward did very little. It was all jorginho advancing the ball. Declan was good defensively and on breaking play up. But I didn't see any piercing passing at all. All sideways backways. Partey comes on with 15 mins to go and won us the game. We need to be level with praise. That was a 7 for Rice for me.
Michael Oliver was paid 20k to ref a game in the middle east only 10 days before the ars city game. He was paid by the same country that owns city.
These refs are either really incompetent or corrupt. My guess is that they are corrupt. If it was Arsenal player did what kovacic did they would give red without hesitation.

Now if you can't see that for what it is, total and absolute corruption, then there is no hope.
