According to reports, Arsenal have ‘submitted an official offer’ for Lille winger Edon Zhegrova.
The 23-year-old has spent the majority of his career so far playing in the Swiss Super League.
Zhegrova joined FC Basel from Genk on an initial loan spell at the start of 2019. His move was made permanent towards the end of 2020.
The right-winger has played 28 times for Kosovo since 2018 and he joined French side Lille earlier this year for €7m.
For Basel and Lille last season, he grabbed six goals and seven assists in 28 appearances across all competitions.
Arlind Sadiku is now reporting via Twitter that Arsenal have approached Lille with an official offer for their player.
It is said that ‘the player has impressed the English club this year at Lille’. A transfer fee is not mentioned, with Zhegrova’s contract not due to expire until 2026.
