According to Nacional (h/t Liverpool Echo), Liverpool are willing to offer €35m to French club Rennes to try and sign talented Ghanaian winger Kamaldeen Sulemana in January.

It emerged last week, according to Fichajes (h/t Liverpool Echo) that the Reds were eyeing a move for the 20-year-old starlet who has been dubbed ‘the new Sadio Mane’ in France for his exploits playing for Rennes.

Sulemana joined Rennes from Danish club Nordsjaelland in 2021 and has since then really gone on to impress in the French league. Whilst he may not be the most prolific of goalscorers, the impact of the Ghanaian is what really catches the eye.

The 20-year-old winger played 28 times for the French club across all competitions last season scoring five goals and providing three assists. This season, in 10 games for the club, he has managed a solitary goal and two assists.

Sulemana is very versatile and can play on either wing. He has even been deployed as the central forward on the rare occasion. The 20-year-old is right-footed and prefers cutting in off the left but he can also play as a traditional winger on the right.

Sulemana’s stocks only keep increasing with every passing performance. He has already won 11 caps for the Ghana national team and this number can only keep increasing if he keeps up these levels.

How highly do you rate Kamaldeen Sulemana?
