Sofyan Amrabat was superb in Manchester United’s 3-0 win over Crystal Palace as was Casemiro. That right there was an Erik ten hag team in total control.

So many positives all over the pitch. That is a sign of what is to come when we’ve got a midfielder who wants to show for the ball. Dan Gore debut, a Garnacho and Martial goal too? A perfect performance and result.

  1. So many positives all over the pitch. That is a sign of what is to come when we've got a midfielder who wants to show for the ball. Dan Gore debut, a Garnacho and Martial goal too? A perfect performance and result.

  2. Yeah we won. But c'mon mate that wasn't even a challenge. Crystal palace were dug deep in their own half. They didn't even try for the ball in the first half. Second half they did attack a few times and they almost scored a couple of goals. Just replace those crystal palace players with decent players and we'd br down 5-3 atleast. So lets not get carried away. This was hardly a challenge. Remember our record against the top 6 teams. Yeah, we are still shite.

  3. We all knew amrabat would be a class player…i'm pleasent;y surprised by Mejbri….he just needs to control his agression a bit and he will be world class player imo….😊🤩

  4. There is no comparison between them. They are good players in the midfield. They will form a human wall among themselves. In the midfield, the Moroccan player is enthusiastic and will give everything he has to his favorite club, Manchester United.

  5. Casemiro is now our top scorer despite a poor start. Its about time Martial scored so happy to see him smile. I know Høilund need time but Im alittle worried that hes always getting the ball in wrong positions, but they need to adapt. We beat a very poor palace who didnt even try so lets not get too carried away they just let us have the ball and didnt press. Lets see on Saturday if we can repeat this. GGMU!

  6. I don't mean to dampen our positive game, but the first thing I noticed for the first time we used what I have said all along was 433, and that is exactly what they adopted, and coincidentally was fergy's favoured formation, now I seriously don't believe this is J&H hags choice, and that includes the choice of players, Fergy is behind this in my opinion, hag has to date not shown that amount of intelligence, so why the sudden change, answer, it's not him making these decisions, praise him all you like the proof has already shown itself for 2 seasons, thats a fact,

  7. No one should put any confidence into Martial “turning a corner”. We’ve seen this too many times. He contributed with a goal and that’s the praise I’ll give him, but he’s still absolute fodder that needs to go.

  8. Amrabat was an absolute gem but also lest we forget Hannibal playing CAM was tracking back deeper than Cas. Cant wait for Mainoo to be fit again we should be back firing heavy in the league. We need to start next season in very similar fashion to how we played last night

  9. Wow, much better game from the team! This is how the ENTIRE team needs to be playing ALL the time. Running. Moving. Passing. Hustling. Pressing. You know, FOOTBALL! Granted, it was a Carabao Cup game against a mid/low table team. But still, very good to see the level of intensity and energy so much higher than it's been all year. And really nice to see the beginnings of what Erik's system can look like. Possesion based football were WE control the game and make our chances. Not relying on the counter for our "offense." It was just so great to see how Amrabat really changed the whole dynamic of the team, along with Hannibal and Mount. Passes were zipping around, players making movement all over the pitch. Cross pitch crosses. Just so great to see them actually playing well and how they should be playing all the time. Lets hope Erik can keep this going and leave out players that don't want to play like this. I don't care how good someone is, if they can't put in the work, hustle, movement, press and defend, then they have no place in this team. Looking at you Rashford/Sancho/Maguire/McTominay.

Amrabat is exactly what we were all hoping for and a beacon of hope. Guy is SOOO active and dynamic. He’s the antithesis of Rashford/Sancho. ALWAYS doing something. ALWAYS running or moving. And man, what a passer and hustler. Dude is omnipresent on the pitch. He's going to help this team as much as Martinez and Casimiro did last year! He's a HUGE signing and much needed.

Mount finally showed why ETH wanted him for his system. Lots of energy, movement and great passing. Well done and hopefully the beginning of a long and productive career at Utd.

Casimiro looked like his old self. Like a living legend and one of the best MF’ers of his generation. Guy just OOZES ability, skill and technique. With younger, faster, more energetic players around him and more control of the ball and possession, he becomes an absolute beast. Casimiro is SO underrated and I’ve been so pissed off and sick and tired of pundits and “fans” talking trash about him like he’s done. In the correct system (Erik’s system of controlling the ball) he shines like a light and really shows you his supreme quality. There is a reason he won FIVE Champions League titles 😉

Loving that Dalot is finally starting to string some good games together, play well and get some confidence again from more playing time. He’s got so much talent and speed and just needs playing time to become better. Great assist and almost had a great shot pounded in as well.

And it was just so great to see the majority of the team playing with so much energy, so much dynamic movement and teamwork. So much different then what we have seen all year and most of the last 10 years. And isn’t it interesting that we played our best game of the year with so many young players in the side. As well as our two new great transfer signings. And without Rashford or Sancho. Hmmmmm, interesting. Take note Erik 😉

Hannibal is really showing Erik that he NEEDS to be part of this team. Kid is busting his butt running all over, being aggressive, dynamic and smart. I love Eriksen and think the world of him. So smooth and so talented. But it looks like his time is up. He just doesn't have the legs or endurance anymore and we need someone in the middle of the park with legs, hustle and determination. I think once Mainoo is back, Erik is going to have a tough time deciding on which players to actually start in the middle of the pitch. With Fernandes, Mount, Casimiro, Amrabat, Mainoo, Hannibal and then Gore and Eriksen off the bench… that is shaping up to be a really good midfield with TONS of options. So that Erik can finally start rotating players in and out, to keep them fresh and hungry. Really exciting to think about!

Then NO IDEA how the ref didn’t call the penalty for Pellistri?!?! That was as clear as day. Dude chopped his ankle off. HORRIFIC no call, but what's new right? Refs SUCK

And to those saying Maguire had a “good” game… please explain what happened at min 67:25 in the game please?!?!?! WTF is he doing down in the corner where NO OPPOSITION player is, guarding God knows what? The give and go between Lindelof and Casimiro goes wrong, and of course, Maguire is nowhere to be found! The SECOND he saw the ball go back to Casimiro from Lindelof, he should have been booking it over there to provide backup DEFENSE (something he knows nothing about). Instead, he just wanders over, does some sort of stutter step and then decides he doesn’t need to come over anymore, because Lindelof and Casimiro have already recovered, all while he’s picking his nose on his lazy walk over to the play! NOT good defense and just another obvious sign that the guy is a horrible defender. What is he doing in the corner?! There’s NOTHING going on down there. Then he is lazy as sh*t and never even makes it over to the middle of the pitch, where he should have been to help defend. Then when he finally gets over there (years later), he does NOTHING to try and go over and stop the shot from Mateta. Yep, GREAT defense. He's awesome 😒

Then at the 84:05 mark, again, COMPLETELY clueless as to what is transpiring, gets completely burned by not paying attention (as per usual), looks like a lumbering new born elephant trying to run for the first time in his life and then once he finally catches up (after the player slows down and actually stops), he does nothing to stop the shot. Again, GREAT defending. World Class right there folks 😒I’m sure if I was able to watch the entire match, there’d be all sorts of other horrible moments from him as well. But yeah, he had a “good” game, hahaha. Can’t believe he was on the pitch, and we didn’t give up a goal. I mean, we should have on the Matata run. Maguire did nothing to actually stop him from scoring. I’m just so confused as to why certain people stick up for this dipsh*t. He’s so slow, so clueless, so arrogant, has NO toughness or aggression on the ball or defenders, doesn’t actually ever DEFEND anything. The list is endless. Just so weird that people stick up for him. If I owned Utd, I’d literally pay another to take him off our books!
