      The City Vs Arsenal game is similar to so many games that have happened between title challengers over the years (Mourinho much). If Arsenal went for it and lost then they would say it’s same old arsenal. Now Arsenal won by nullifying city, it’s a bore fest. If arsenal win the title by winning 1-0 every game then all arsenal fans would take it

      Long time listener, first time poster.       As much as I rate Spurs this year the man did everything he could for Spurs and Bayern Munich is a chance to win league titles and maybe win champions leagues. As much as the Spurs project is fantastic with Big Ange he’s much more likely to win things on a consistent basis than with Spurs just because of City and their dominance.

      Also let’s not disregard the fact that at Bayern you’re literally playing with Elite players all over the pitch. Spurs have some brilliant players absolutely don’t get me wrong but Bayern Munich have world class players all over the pitch Coman, Gnabry, Kimmich, Upamecano, Alphonso Davies, Neuer, Goretzka, Sane etc. why would you not want to play with those players?

      Thinking of words or a sentence only used in soccer, I started thinking about “words or a sentence” that is used in soccer and 99% of the population of only one city in the world The Liverpool Fans “we was robbed” walking the streets you’ll hear it on a daily basis

      Why would he regret leaving Spurs? He will win the league at Bayern and even has a chance at a UCL trophy. Spurs are playing good sure but they have a massively lower chance to win anything compared to Bayern.

      I don’t think Nige and Harry Kane would get on well together. I’m imagining the dinner party where Harry is slurping milky cereal thinking of goals while Nige is eating spag bol out of his hands thinking of saves. “Mmmm goals….. mmmmm saves….”

      in this current moment, if Kane and Son switched clubs neither would play as well. taking the argument further, i believe Son would be at least as good for England as Kane has been (much more service, much more of a pace and power player), and Kane would have certainly been able to carry South Korea deeper into tournaments than Son could because of his passing range and physicality in the box.

      Harry Kane being in the Spurs lineup would not allow for this style of football that Postecoglu is playing

      different personnel = different playstyles = different match outcomes = different league positions!!!!!

      not sure tottenham would be better with kane ,cause son can't play down the left anymore so he would replace son ,and he doesn't press like son can so i dont think we would get the same results

      With or without Kane I don't think they would have been title challengers anyway because of their depth, one or 2 injuries and this team will fall off

      For the record I am gutted about the Eustace sacking, completely unwarranted. Feels like the first ‘non-football’ decision that the new ownership has made. That being said, not Wayne’s fault, up the granny bashing blues. KRO

      After the City game, many City fans wanted a replay because they said the refs made a mistake and did not give a red to Kovacic, I thought that it would not be fair to City fans to see their team lose 4 out of 5 games just because the refs made a mistake again,we move on.

      What Flav said about knowing you're moments from falling asleep is spot on! Its like your regular thoughts become strange and incoherent, similar to a dream, then merely moments later youre out like a light. Thought I was the only one thanks for the reassurance that I'm not psychotic Flav.

      (edit): upon reflection I realise that using Flav as a gauge of whether im psycho or not isnt a great idea… I'm off to see the doc now

      The end of this pod is like when you try it on with your Mrs and she gives that heartbreaking little "erhh" noise to indicate she's not in the mood. Only for you to follow it up with a saddened sigh. She sees the disappointment on your pathetic little face and says "oh come on then", which leaves you in the really awkward spot of still wanting to do it but being too prideful to accept the pity offer.

      (Sweet Spot Bit). Not quite a sweet spot, well the complete opposite in fact, a sour spot per say. Instead of the one wipe poo, the dreaded infinite wiper. One of the worst feeling when you feel like it will never end, like wiping the end of a marker. Then the soreness and irritation enters the equation and at some point or another you must give up and bite the bullet. Shamefully pulling up your trousers with the fear that the job may not be quite finished. One of the worst feelings, a sour spot.
