I just think with the players we have – eg Bruno, Rashford, Fred and even Casemiro to an extent etc. We don't have enough players there who are just good at taking and keeping possession in difficult positions. All our players can be wasteful in possession . He hides just as much as Mctominay when trying to progress the ball up the pitch.

If Mount able to reach his level as like Griezmann did in WC then it gonna be very effective for Man UTD

Mount is a good player and anyone who says otherwise is mental. But I do agree he wouldn’t be the best option, but I also trust Ten Haag judgement on this.
I personally would rather get Maddison over Mount if United are playing a system with two hybrid 8s but his injury record is questionable. But this type of midfielder lets me wonder what Ten Haag will do with Wan Bissaka this summer because the defenders would be solely responsible for build up with two hybrid 8s. I could see a scenario where United using player sales go all out for Timber, Diogo Costa and another CB on the cheap. Having Timber play RB and CB when needed but I can understand selling AWB for another CB and having Timber as the RB, although losing AWB would be a big concern.
Tilmans as a free agent is a better player than mount
Towards the end you mentioned something important,United need a hybrid 6/8 and that player isn't Mount which is why I think majority of the fans are against the signing. Caicedo/Rice/ Kone

Yes, Mason Mount at United. He is a perfect player for ETH system, good on the ball, brave enough to receive the ball from the defence and turn the oppositions players to start attacks, good at winning the ball back with loads of energy, will press all game. He can also play anywhere in the midfield, also at right wing. It's a no brainer!!!
If it has to be premier league player , my choice would be ruben neves from wolves, if not then maddison from leicester would be a cheap deal , given they have been relegated or lavia from Southampton, also relegated so price wise both wise deals
If ETH is plotting a move for Mount then we are sure to get a striker like Kane or Osimhen. That plus KMJ and probably a new GK, should be good business for us. Although I’d love a back up for Casemiro but seems difficult

Yes, English players are overrated and way too expensive. Buying them you have to have another proven players at their positions.
There are many better and cheaper options in the likes of Madison, Ward-prose and Tilemans who is a free agent

Upgrade? He's good but he's not that good. If he was 30-40 mil he'd be a top buy. At 60 mil he takes away from United buying top no 9. Its as simple as that. But yeah, what Ericksen is able to do along side Casemiro….. not very many can do.
Mount in! People really have their eyes closed when they watch him play. Look when hes sat next to Phillips or rice for England he and Bellingham play the Maestro roles and keeping the wingers able to push deep. Now put him with Bruno and Casemiro

the only player close to jisung park was kante. the amount of work rate from those players.. may have also led to them being injury prone as well tho. bernado silva is probably the more attacking/technical versions of them. cept pep rotates really well.
Another signing mess up by UTD. McAllister the player we absolutely need, goes to Liverpool.. united will pay more than Liverpool paid for McAllister..lets be clear McAllister is a far more better player. We need a striker, winger, CB, creative midfielder. Look at City bench vs United Bench. Once again the Shambles that is united will drag on with signings.. pay double what a player is worth and not bring them in for preseason. Unbelievable the shambles a once great club is in.

If he's a squad option, its about cost tho isn't it.. He is not a great passer, or tackler. Hes not a good 10, compared to Bruno, he can't cover for Casemiro, he's jsut a bit more defensive than an ageing Eriksen. 10 has some slightly odd views on midfield (viz de jong, eriksen, bruno as an ambition), so I'm not surprised by this but I don't think he'll work with Bruno and Eriksen – theres no steel. He is not worth the £70m plus being demanded. Not by a long chalk.
