Howard Webb is making stuff up as he goes
Nonsense!
It's just ineptitude and inconsistency! You're all crap!
Kovacic was studs up, two feet off the ground and didn’t even catch the ball, much worse than the gusto challenge imo
Seemed like the VAR guy had an incentive to give gusto a red. He showed it in the worst possible way.
Because Chelsea forgot to Pay the ref, City didn't.
Getting the ball means nothing nowadays it seems. Curtis and Gusto sent off for what would've been a fair tackle 5 years ago
Am I crazy for thinking the Gusto tackle and both Kovacic tackles are all yellows? Gusto follow through is bad but he got the ball and I don't think he intended to injure anyone.
Gusto took the ball kovacic didn't and another issue is when you keep slowing it down stop slowing it down all the time to make it look worse than it is
var isnt consistint
The ref had a howler only booking the city player
Interesting that there's no audio from the Manchester City one
No one ever wanted VAR in the first place, never a red for gusto but Kovacic and Bruno G remained on field😂😂 fcking laughable
what a pathetic summary. Honestly this show is a joke. No audio for the Kovacic one when clearly this is the big topic for thr show. Fully off the ground, no contact with the ball, studs up, from behind…..I mean come on Howard Webb I know they pay your bills but honestly man up and tell the truth
Both clear reds
These guys are clowns ,he was a f//king useless referee .
Clearly get the ball, bad follow through = red card. Nowhere near the ball, same contact = yellow?
How much did Michael oliver get paid from uae league why are no journalists asking
I always knew referees were a joke, now we have proof.
We not listening to the audio for the Kovacic decision then? wonder why because every reason the VAR team gave for Gusto sending off also occurred in that kovacic clip.
.coming from a distance
.leaves the ground
.far away from the ball after point of contact
.catches him on ankle
.buckles ankle
Thats all the boxes the VAR team ticked for gusto review. Which ones of them did Kovacic not tick then? because if anything he has more boxes and there way worse. Comes from more of a distance, leaves the ground a lot more, MILES away from the ball before and after point of contact, catches ankle and still buckles Odegaards ankle.
Not to mention the ref wasn't even going to give a foul for the gusto one until VAR said foul then caution then yellow card which i didn't think was even allowed but i guess im wrong.
Gusto gets ball = red card
Kovacic misses ball = yellow card
Make it make sense 🤣
