Wait a minute. I had to look him up. This is a guy who played for, get this, Liverpool! And he represents the Spain national team, currently, right now, not a has-been player! I’m glad I jumped on MLS last year, because I’ve watched it grow into a respected league. They are legitimately pulling current stars from Europe into their own league, people who play on top national teams, and more often than not they’ve been a factory for European exports.
