  1. We went down and really let that get to us. I don’t think we deserved to concede three but I don’t think we deserved to score two either. The start was actually very good. On the front foot and pushing forward well. Then it was just an onslaught of poor marking. Not tracking and particularly not stepping on the outside. Not good enough, but also very clinical from Orlando. We just didn’t seem to care about letting crosses into the box. Defensively from top to bottom we were poor. Unlucky at times but also just not at our level. That also includes the midfield. One of MAK, Buck, or Polster in the second half would just fly into a press and leave us completely exposed. And attacking wise it was pretty much Chanc, Gil, or nothing. Got forward better in the second half but crosses into the box from the touch line are not ideal. I can agree that Peay should simplify some things but he’s also a very good coach who can get a tune out of a team when given time. Problem is, there is no time. If we play more basic with players in their best spots and just control possession the way he wants we can be fine. Tweaking things from there is much easier than starting with a whole new set of ideals from the jump, particularly this late on. Having someone come inverted is completely fair, and he’s made it work before. It’s just a tough time to implement that so far into the season with no prior usage. Either way Peay is extremely smart and can absolutely figure this out. Hopefully we will get to see that as soon as possible. Big two games left and we desperately need the points. Plenty of quality in this group of players and staff to get that done. GO REVS!!!!!
