Manchester United paid a lot of money to bring Antony on board from but he is yet to win over all the fans as well as the critics and with the controversy looming over his head, his absence will still pose a tactical problem for Manchester United. However, Antony has played close to 50 games for the club as Erik ten Hag continues to select him in his starting line-up and the primary reason for that is the manager does not have any other world-class right-winger. But now that Antony has been given a temporary break, the problems are going to mount for Ten Hag even more. Rashford has often played out their over the years but he’s a shadow of the player he is on the other side and playing him there to accommodate loss of players on that side might actually end up counter productive. On paper, apart from Antony, Amad Diallo and Facundo Pellistri are the only two recognized right-winger in the squad but Diallo is out injured and is currently undergoing a long rehab. He is sure to miss the first half of the 23/24 season and there are fears he could be out until February or March.

I’m simply looking forward to a right winger who will take on defenders. Facundo can do that. I don’t think he’s going to go on and be some incredible player but a very, very solid option for any team he’s on. As long as he tracks back he should bench antony permanently
i have a feeling that amrabat and case playing as x2 6s, mount in front, bruno on the right as he played there last season at times. OR same formation but with pellistri there

why not just have like 2 starting academy graduates cause i dont think we have anything to lose, cause our recruitment is the worst for like a full decade only a few gems here and there, start pelistri, and these other youths better than these players who are just there for a paycheck

I really think Amad will make the RW spot his before the end of the season. 16 goals in the championship as a winger doesnt get spoken about enough and you could see that ten hag favoured him in the preseason matches over pellistri.
Only Utd can buy a striker who has all the attributes of haaland and have a winger already in place who whilst played with haaland breaks all assist goals records together and f**k it up so we will most likely never see him play with our striker. That is just so typically Utd at the minute.

Thinking back to the Villa game we lost last season, I don't think EtH is going to switch Garnacho out to the right. He had the opportunity to do it when we had injuries and he chose to switch Rashford out there instead. Either Bruno or Pellistri.

Jadon had so many chances he’s weak in 50/50 tackles never jumps for 50/50 headers put pellistri in give him a chance and sancho doesn’t deserve a spot in the first team and that’s not because of what he said on X/Twitter
Pellistri seems to make the most sense until Mount is fit. Wouldn't be suprised to see bruno on right till Mount is back with Casemiro, Mctominay/Amrabat (depending if Amrabat is fit) and Eriksen as midfield 3
