Defender Tim Ream describes himself as β€œpretty old compared to everybody else here.β€œ Since getting his first cap in 2010, Ream has played under multiple National Team head coaches and has forged a career in Europe for longer than many of his younger teammates have been pros. Now a 35-year-old veteran at his first World Cup, Ream aims to always give back -whether that’s providing perspective to his teammates or working with kids on wellness and mental health and speaking about his experiences at the highest levels of the sport. “26 Stories,” presented by Volkswagen.

  1. Been watching a lot of Leeds and Fulham this season. Ream’s proven he can dribble & pass out of the back AND get on the ball on corners. He’s a rock and I’m excited to see him get on the pitch this tournament

  2. β€œOld guy” playing fantastic in the back! And loved your insights on social media. (As I type this). We all are human… be kind… or say nothing. Great job Tim !

  3. Tim has been the heart of our backline this tournament. Super proud to have seen him come up and the role he's taken on the team as a mature, levelheaded voice. Time to take on the Netherlands!
