      Lukaku is no Harry Kane and it's hard to see how he can be accommodated in the type of system Pochettino usually deploys. Kante is a free agent this summer, so it's up to him. I don't see us signing Ugarte, Lavia and Caicedo, especially because Brighton want a ridiculous fee. I don't see the issue with academy staff. Even if Mount/Gallagher/RLC/CHO leave, Chalobah/James/Hall/Maatsen/Colwill/Broja/Anjorin all remain, and the next gen below them. Academy coaches know perfectly well that a tiny proportion of academy players are top, top quality.

      If Mount cares more about money than the badge, he should go. We have Kai and Gallagher to fill in at CAM. They have similar capabilities to Mount.

      I personally don't think we need Lukaku back. Keep him at Inter Milan. There are better striker's out there who suits Pochettino's style of play.

      Smells like emotional blackmail here. Players who are not up to it should not be involved in the first team full stop. Man City also have a great academy too. We don't see them squeezing through 5 to 6 academy grads into the team all the time. The same can be said of Real Madrid and Bayern as well. We cant afford to have different set of performance expectation for academy grads on one hand and another more stringent expectation for others. Meritocracy has to be consistent.

      wow people want that 100mil mistake lakaka to return and want mason to leave like this makes me sad on top of that we pay more to more to incoming players than an existing player ,other clubs are no fools to have interest in cobham lads and mason , paying for replacements when you already have free existing good players is brain dead ,spend 65 on ugarte good now make way to sell that 100mil mistake lakaka and get new striker

      The most important thing this summer is for players Pochettino wants to try and get them and not to indulge Boehly's fantasy players..I am hearing Ugarte is who Poch wanted so that's a step in the right direction..The only 1 i would question is Lukaku, if Poch wants him back then we need to back the coach but i have no faith in Lukaku he has no love for us and seems to only want Inter again !

      Lukaku does not have the attitude in the dressing room to help galvanise our youth players. too much ego and will distract the dressing room. we should sell him and go for a striker who's much hungrier. Also I think nkunku can play as a striker so we just need a no.2 to unkunku

      Mount has been offered a contract that he doesn't want to sign, we still have reece james, lewis hall, broja, colwill, potentially chalobah all in our first team squad. The goal of an academy is to develop young players into professional footballers even if they don't stay at the club young players will continue to want to be at chelsea's academy as they are almost guaranteed professional football when they graduate. Staff aren't going to leave because mount is being sold that is a really embarrassing and childish story.

      I feel no one talks about Zakaria enough, I feel he'll fit the defensive profile that Dier played at Tottenham and he has the stature, skill for the role under Pochettino.

      if our academy graduates can be sold for a goor price with a buy back close, why not, it is also a good business initiative. however, there will always be one, two or three that will make it and be part of the first team.
