For over 30 years, Douglas Lim Wong has been one of the world’s most prolific martial artists. A multi-published author, stunt coordinator and kung-fu instructor, Wong is considered one of Chinese Martial Art’s true pioneers. After achieving expertise in such varied styles as wing chun, five animals and white tiger, Wong went on to create his own synthesis, the white lotus system. In this landmark DVD, Wong reveals the combative aspects of this unique system, teaching martial artists of all styles and levels how to make kung-fu effective in street situations. He strips away the mystique that gives kung-fu an almost mystic effect, demonstrating ancient principles of combat refined for modern application. A must for any martial arts DVD library! Now that's some NASTY way of attacks! I wonder if there is any LEGAL IMPLIACTION or ACCOUNTABILITIES these days. May be a class action lawsuit imminent! Brah ha ha ha!
haha poor guy…
True skill is never easily apparent. Sifu Wong has true skill.
dude im toatly gunna try that wen some one attacks
kung fu was never ment to be mystical to us chinese it was always a science but the westerners had to blur everything they think just cuz its asian its mystical
i think the thing u say about "true skill is never easily apparent" is sorta an excuse for illegitimate "sifu's" to claim themselves as masters
i think kung fu schools nowadays lost their touch, because the skills they teach u are supposedly so lethal, that you never have a chance to practice it on anyone. yes, its a street fight, and it's for survival, but correct application calls for not only doing your forms, but actually hands on sparring. And because you cannot tear someone's eye out while you spar, you never really practice these techniques on anyone, and I think that's what turns it least practical.
heyken17: that is why in the beginning he said that they pracitce on dead rabbits for the digging of eye balls
I studied with Sifu Wong back in 1977 taking a fighting class, so if you want to meet him get in touch with me. David K.
This is amazing, I would like to learn this.
Definetely would like to talk to him, however I live in Atlanta. If he would be willing to do a seminar here, maybe we can work something out.
This guy speaks so so well! His voice is captivating but his physique is really out of shape!
There is no most dangerous type. It's the practitioner.
so graceful snake technique
i rekon if a person woz gud enuf and fast enuf they cud use these techniques against MMA fighters and win coz these moves are banned in MMA due to it being a sport
this guy is pretty gud, best ive seen in a long time
most ppl BS, but this guy has realism-gud stuff!
its chinese kempo?
This guy is in manswers ! i just saw him like 1 min ago he can do a white lutus* eye GOWGE
vs a snake XD
Wow, nice stuff. I agree with the guy who said it there is no most dangerous type and that it is the practitioner. Also Gary Lam is not the most physically fit guy but I'm sure he'd mess people up. I think a martial artist can be really really good and very deadly still even if they appear out of shape. It comes down to their understanding of their style and the experience they have in using it. A guy that looks overweight and old perhaps may have enough experience to still be very deadly.
I just heard about this style..
So what kind of fighting art does it resemble to?
@joncobber learn to spell
this is some deadly stuff
thats the deadilest style of martial arts
Very similar to Chin Na
