In this Premier League Review, Statman Dave takes a look at Manchester United’s 1-0 away win over Burnley with a particular focus on what Sofyan Amrabat will bring to the starting eleven whilst analysing a very impressive performance from 20 year old Hannibal Mejbri. Is Bruno Fernandes set to continue on the right wing? Will Mejbri keep Mason Mount out of the starting eleven? How many goals will Casemiro score as a box to box midfielder? Find out on The Premier League Review.

  1. I legitimately think by the time he's 23 Garnacho has the potential to completely eclipse Rashford as our main left winger, and if he and Hojlund can strike a partnership and get the chemistry we could have our own version of Kane and Son on our hands. Hojlund seems comfortable enough in buildup and Garnacho is both a willing passer and has the instinct to give the ball and get into the box.

Rashford's got all the talent and physical gifts of a Vini Jr. or even an Mbappe but he has the decision making of Lingard at times. Its getting frustrating watching him do all the hard work and get into great positions and then missing the obvious/pass or shot and doing something dumb 5/6 times every game.

  2. Not to get carried away with last nights performance against a weakened palace side but I’m just thinking of the midfield options available to ten hag Casemiro amrabat mainoo mount Hannibal eriksen Bruno then van de beek who looked lively last light and even mctominay who when played in advanced positions can do a job. Just not in any the central midfield areas where his skill set isn’t suited Ten hag Nine mids

  3. Great video. Having Mejbri and Amrabat around Casemiro in an Box to Box makes up for his loss of speed and his slight shakiness in possession. Casemiro has lost the ball on many occasions and he's lost a step in recovery defense. He's been surprisingly clinical in the box and his high risk passes have come off much better than his ability to circulate play. I am really excited to see Amrabat with Hannibal and Mainoo in front of him. That would be a high work rate, athleticism, with good dribbling skills. That would allow Rashford and Bruno to basically not really have to defend. I would like to see that trio against lesser sides that are physical in the midfield (the game against Spurs exposed the lack of pace and physicality of a Casemiro, Bruno, Eriksen midfield trio).

  4. You are stat Dave not tactical Dave. Stick to stats, you are delusional af. Most of your takes on Twitter are absolutely horrific, I am like does this guy even watch Football with his eye. Delusional DAVE!!!

  5. There was one challenge against Burnley where the Mejbri of 18 months or so ago would have reacted and probably got a booking or a red. But he just didn’t react at all, kept his head. The season in EFL really helped him I reckon
