Liverpool did nothing wrong either remember?
Can we replay the 2019 champions league final please 🙏, VAR made mistakes that night
Get over the red cards, both were correct. Plenty of players have been sent off in the Prem for the exact same as Jones tackle so theres no precedent for it to be rescinded. He was over the ball and caught him on the leg
the point should be split.. 1 point each….
Come on Jurgen, how many points have you gained for bad VAR decisions? Isak onside against Liverpool last year even after the lines were drawn, for example.
Shut up, get on with it.
Typical Klopp butthurt. If it isn't VAR it's the wind..
The game should not be replayed. So you are telling me that all the games who have wronged needs to be played. So klopp is telling me he needs to rub all the hard work his achievement just for one point. This man had won back to back. And he want to be remembered for replying of Tottenham and liverpool. If he had come out and say video review has to go l would have understand. But what l don't understand is that Tottenham won the game. Just like Maradona the hand of God goal will let it go. Sometimes they is such thing as lucky goal. But things like that they don't exist anymore. It is said that a big man like klopp is crying for a point. If he put his energy on getting that point In beating others teams as we all know the genius in him he can do it. And being remembered for losing a point and come and win the championship. But instead he want to be remembered for crying for a point. The games has gone focuse on how to win the and get the point back from other teams .
With exactly the same 11 players and the two red cards included in the replay
No it won’t be replayed, Get over it Klopp ye big BABY. Jesus!. And it was the officials fault not Spurs. Grow up.
That's a ridiculous take but also the kind of inevitable response you're going to get when you promise that technology will eradicate human error. It won't. It can't. And it's boring and frustrating to watch the results, even when it's right (when they decide to use it, which they do only subjectively anyway).
This event should mean one thing only: the death of VAR. Get rid of it. Go back to referees making live decisions. Accept that refs will make mistakes. Accept (and embrace!!) that home fans will influence decisions. Get rid of the tedium of drawing lines and analysing frame by frame images of tackles and so on. BRING BACK REAL LIVE FOOTBALL.
Should every game with a refereeing mistake be replayed? What if the score is 6-0 with 2 minutes to go and this happens? Obviously you can't replay.
"Something like that never happened" yes because VAR has only been with us for 4-5 years or so. Pre-VAR how many goals were wrongfully flagged or wrongfully allowed? Lots! If there was no VAR the onfield decision was offside, so it was a failure of the "protection mechanism" the onfield decision was still wrong. So if we're going to replay because of a "factual" wrong offside that VAR didn't call, let's go back and replay all the countless times other "factual" offsides were got wrong by the onfield team.
If thats the rule, replay it
It’s not Spurs fault this has happened game should not be replayed. Think Klopp if forgetting about Wolves in the cup last year and the fact he’s repeatedly said there is too much football so when does he want the game to be replayed
Even if the goal standed who knows how the outcome of the game, the events of the game would of changed and Liverpool could still lose, the game is done and dusted now, just more needs to be done in improving how the VAR is used with better clarification and transparency on decisions
And it was a red red card , no doubt , whether he meant to go over the ball or not , he did so red card ! What happens if the player has a broken leg , is your defence I didn’t mean to go over the ball with studs up . Don’t make me laugh
Most Spurs fans in the comments have had no bias and been very fair with their opinion. Great club and great fans, unlike the rest of London 😂
I would be all for a replay of liverpool start with 9.
I know Tottenham is allergic to winning trophies, but what if Tottenham goes ahead and wins the premier league title. Do you the Tottenham vs Liverpool game will be a subject of discussion more than the tainted premier league title they just won.
Apparently the VAR officials were watching reply of Taylor swift tour on YouTube during the Spurs Liverpool game 😂
Rival fans crying, because their club won't fight like liverpool🔴😂
Won't happen. At the VERY least Spurs should allow Liverpool to score a goal from Kick Off in the return fixture at Anfield. I think that would be the closest realistic thing to fairness we're likely to get. Spurs benefitted from this at the end of the day and took the 3 points, allowing us a 1 goal lead in the return fixture is the least they can do
The situation isn’t that unprecedented. Sheffield Utd scored a ghost goal against Villa a few years ago, which the goal line technology didn’t pick up. That ultimately sent Bournemouth down and not Villa. There was no replay then, why should there be now?
the epl can deduct or give points ,then Liverpool should get at least a point
