Everyone said the bengals o line would be much improved with the orlando brown signing, but theres a reason the Chiefs didn’t wanna pay him, it’s because he’s not a great left tackle. He’s solid, but he is not the elite left tackle that Bengals fans think he is.

Merle Hodge said it best about Brady. Paraphrasing, he said Brady was so great because he'd throw checkdowns like 10 plays in a row. He just understands all that matters is moving the chains. Josh Allen doesn't seem to have that in him, most QBs don't let's be honest.

To be fair, Allen and Burrow lost and played like garbage. Mahomes still played well, he hit his receivers in the hands in almost every throw and they couldn’t hold them…
Since 2020 Josh Allen leads the league with 135 TD’s and leads the league with 58 turnovers. This is just par for the course.

He's right about Burrow hasn't received the criticism he should because of Allen 's bad play.
One thing to remember about Joe Burrow is he likes contact, he's on record saying if he wasn't playing QB he'd be playing LB. So this thought that he's getting beat up is a little overstated. Even when he scrambles out of the pocket he'll initiate contact, not run away from it

He threw out the “since 2021” as if the Bengals didn’t add 4 new starters to the offensive line since then including one of the biggest free agent signings in the NFL this past offseason.
The Bengals line didn’t even play that bad week 1. They have at least an average offensive line.
You protect your investment and the Bengals need to secure Joes future by improving the offensive line for him. RGIII makes a good point. I think the comparison to Luck is valid, I’m not sure the severity of the hits Joes taken is a 1 to 1 with Lucks but nonetheless Joe needs to be protected much better.
