Even new Germany head coach Julian Nagelsmann can’t solve these problems immediately. German football is struggling to develop world-class players – in almost every position. I think the Coerver model is brilliant. It works well with the UK academy system.
It is not just about developing local talent that seems to be the problem with Germany. There are factors outside their control as well. Like other nations bringing in their teams who are fierce and hungry to win. Look at Japan and South Korea over the last couple of years. They're not considered minnows anymore. And also teams from the middle east who are playing some really good football. Bundesliga is the most boring of all leagues with only Bayern dominating. Germany will have to focus on not only developing their players but also be wary of teams other than the usual England or Spain and be ready to change their style of playing if they want to beat these teams. The Football landscape is changing and very soon we may see a team outside of Europe or Latin America becoming world champions.
They cannot take steroids all the time, like before!

i stopped playing football 13 years ago ( i'm 24 rn and started playing with 6), because i was benched all the time , i was fast and wanted to get the passes in my runway so i can use my speed on the wings , but the coach was like : don't do that you lose the ball just stand still take the ball and pass again . I didn't care about that so i was like only a bench warmer :/
The irony of Germany being full of foreigners.. I realise that's obviously a difficult + politicised subject especially in Germany but its a conversation that needs to be had, sensibly. If you fill your teams with foreign players there's nowhere for your own kids to go. Overcompensating for the past has led to failures in the present.
Because they want to follow a woke agenda, they are pushed to “diversify” the skin color and/or country of origin of their players, rather than put the good players just because they are white.

Germany lack players like Bastion. You have Kimmick but he is much hyped player. Bastion used to score, win the ball back, defend and control the match but I don't see anyone like him, Sammer or Ballack in midfield. Another worry is you don't have defensive partnership as Hummels, Boateng, Beckenbaur, Mertesacker etc., Also you don't trust and develop players like Matthias Ginter who is a real fighter. But his opportunities are very much limited. You have players Sane, Gnabry, Havertz, Writz, Moukakku etc but all of them are good only in a single match and they are not confident and competitive enough. Germany has to go long way.
Personally, I am no longer interested in the German national team. There are simply no real "characters" left in the team. We desperately need players like Thorsten Frings again who really stirr up the pitch, yell, get emotional. Technical proficiency is nice and all, but I think what we really need is for those "fighting" characters to come back

Germany FC relies too much on physical attributes rather than the actual ball skill. It used to work before but nowadays most teams (especially the small teams) are physically enabled that the German domination is not seen anymore.

The German football federation (DFB) completely destroyed the Connection of germans to their Team. The Tickets are way to expansive and there is almost no child who saw the german team in the stadium. THAT matters. Someone stole our pride, our Identity and wie have to get it back

Thanks for this video. I live here and i think German soccer is going down because the structure is not strong and also no encouragement for the kids From the clubs or Parents. I wish it gets better before it’s too late. Many countries do alot for the Youth teams and the smaller kids who plays in clubs. I think Germany FA can do better and give them more encouragement.
