Best game in a LFC jersey from Joe Allen. It does make a difference when they are playing with young mobile midfielders. Hopefully he can build on it. Xabi Alonso had a few poor seasons at LFC before turnong world class on 08/09. Don't write players off too soon

Allen's performances have been much better of late, he's great at keeping the midfield ticking over, constantly feeding the forward players. Only problem is in games when we're on the back foot, he doesn't have the strength defensively, maybe needs to hit them gym a bit more. You can see he has that kind of Xavi style to him, the only difference is Xavi can also play a ridiculous pass too, Allen is always very safe, needs to take a few more risks with his passing. Maybe they'll come with more game time, and more good performances.
