OMG – what have these people done to golf as we all knew it. 266000 views and 37 comments – so not an engaged audience eh? Are these the Butlins or 'Hi-de-Hi' entertainment organizers? When Peter Allis left golf finally, there were many who felt that golf would now modernize. Careful of what you wish for. An ex-Love Island contestant as interviewer? Really? And we'll dump the familiar, experienced commentators and replace them with a couple of ex-players who have almost no experience of this sort of thing – what could possibly go wrong? I'd be mighty surprised if the long-standing golf sponsors feel this appeals to their own specific traditional golfer audience. I'm sure this ticks many boxes at Sky – but sponsors will have the last word and it won't be one that the PGA wants to hear. Look at those empty seats! Roll on the Saudi takeover and back to sanity!
