      Just think the form he was in was just unbelievable and better then SJ. But I do like SJ as a player.

      Paddy, sj was great. Kp was also great. But your view on the outcome has quite a bit of bias. Counting of votes sounds like a bs mess. But it has been for many, many years. It aint gona change. Just have to live with crappy decisions. I dont think many people care anyway. Its a night to fill in the 7 days before gf. Total bs in suits etc. Chill out bro 😊

      Man the show itself was shit I went out to my local burger store and had no data and was on call with my brother
      When he told me KP won the dally m I kid u not I asked 5 times are u serious are u joking with me by the 3rd time he got so angry and put the volume up and I heard the speech and I’m like tf that’s not SJ’s voice and then it hit me oh no 😂😂😂😂 shocking

      Honestly Johnson chance of winning it was probably hampered by having a really good team around him and judges were like was it Johnson? or the team that got them the wins. It was between two feel good stories of the season, the veteran on the brink of retirement having probably his last crack for the team that hasn't won a title and the comeback kid when his not on the field his team aren't that good.

      Don't get me wrong ponga had an amazing comeback this year but johnson was consistently playing great footy week after week if ponga was the same the I'd understand but yeah Johnson should of won no hate for ponga he's such a good player and congrats to him you made Newcastle proud

      I totally agree SJ should have got Daly M but it is what it is.
      His greatest off field honor was being pulled late in Knights game then walking round his beloved Mnt Smart with his fans not just giving him a standing ovation but an emotional deafening roar that few will ever forget.

      i totally agree Shaun Johnson Robbed of Dally M Medal, first the forward pass by Broncos and now the Dally M Medal , please don't do that , there no fair and truly game of rugby league . what a big shame .. as pacific islanders support of the game , we have been robbed by the NRL… over to you the big players..

      The daily M is flawed anyway as a top player playing in a lower team will take more points than a top player in a top team its the reason someone like Lockyer never won the dally M while other players like Joey and JT won more

      It was very strange how Ponga got 6 points vs the sharks at the end there.
      Yes the knights dominated but Ponga got 1 try 1 assist & that was it…was it really worth 6 points? Imo it wasnt even though I'm a knights supporter & love Ponga that medal should've went to SJ even by a point or 2
      Theres more reason why SJ deserves it….they really should check the system….happy for Kalyn tho…both awesome players & great video once again 👏🏼

      So many Holes in what you're saying man! He wasn't ROBBED.. he won fair and square.. most people saying Shaun was robbed are being emotional because let's face it he's a great guy.. But Let's be TRULY FAIR HERE… If Kalyn ponga was able to accrue 56 points with Such a shorter stint than SJ you should be Praising Kalyns name… but No and that's because of your emotional investment to Shaun Johnston. Sure his story is great.. and noone should take that off him… but Kalyn ponger was taken out by alot of dirty blows… and yet when he could play he was a Star. The Knights comeback was much bigger of a deal than a great season from the Warriors… Knights have always been considered an under achieving side… and with all the Drug and conspiracy allegations Kalyn has faced and to be able to perform and take the Knights to the top 5.. HUGE.. and he accrued so many points in much less opportunities than SJ had.. The best Player ISNT the one that was healthiest to play the entire season.. that's called LUCK… The BEST player is the one that Did the most when they could! If KP had the same amount of matches what could have KP achieved in terms of points? A hell of alot more.. Kalyn is VERY deserving of this.. because it's the BEST Player NOT mr congeniality with a great season.

      Dally M’s are and always have been a joke.

      Allan langer was the most dominant player of the 90s and he won 1. Brad Fittler was top 3 players in the world every year 95-04 and he won 1. Darren Lockyer was top 2 players every year 00-11 and never won one. All of these players should have won a minimum of 2 each. The only fair way to do it is rate every player every week out of 10. Once the season is over then who ever has the most points is the best player that year, regardless of their teams success or general quality across the board.
