  1. As jose said it's a defensive process that involves all the players…that being said Davinson Sanchez is a huge liability in that process the man has all the qualities to be a world class center back but unfortunately doesn't have a brain, the man just does stupid fucking things every single game even without being under pressure if you watch spurs you'll see a huge amount of goals have been as a result of sanchez lapsing on the ball …Also we desperately need a proper Dm and not eric dier , Dier is so fucking slow, very poor passer and also brain activity is very low the man literally passes the ball to the opponent alot and then with his poor pace and athleticism usually have to whack them down …with sanchez at cb and dier in midfield we will not keep clean sheets

  2. I was unhappy with Toby when the word was that he wanted to leave, but I am happy now.

And, yes, I think Poch trained them too hard. (Fitter at the beginning of the season then just about every team, but ran out of gas every April and May and way too many injuries picked up on the training ground. Mourinho said at least early on he wants the energy saved for games. I think he's right.)

If we can get right back sorted Sissoko can focus 100% on the middle of the pitch, rather than covering for the right back, which will also help.

  3. You obviously didn't see the look of incredulity in Toby Wan's eyes when the most successful manager in Europe in the last 20 years bar none walked into the room at Hotspur Way to introduce himself and take the first training session. He was awestruck and it didn't take much to figure out that he wasn't going to be going anywhere in the near future except to Daniel Levy's office to re-sign on the dotted line. Mourinho might have been criticized for lacking modesty (calling himself the Special One, calling Wenger a "specialist in failure", etc.) but if you've got it flaunt it, right? Pochettino was always modest and humble and if success as a manager was measured by how loved by the players and the fans you are, he would win that title hands down every season. As it is, at least as far as Spurs are concerned, he will forever be remembered as the Trophyless One. (There's more silverware in the cutlery set I got when I got married in 1978 than in Spurs' trophy cabinet these days. Maybe I should lend them some?) Hell yes, Toby lost faith in Poch. In four seasons all he managed to accumulate in terms of gongs was a single measly Champions League loser's medal. He already had one of those from his only season at Atletico except that he also got a La Liga winner's medal to keep it company. It's particularly ironic then that the final straw that broke the camel's back occurred in Atleti's home stadium five years later. Now, however, with Jose at the helm, the sky's the limit as far as Toby is concerned.

  4. Our defence is shocking because we need a LB and RB, most teams are scoring against us with play down the wide areas, hopefully Jose fixes the problem.

  5. I think Jose will sort the defence out – Toby is quality and needs to be there. For our one clean sheet, Jose told them at half time – the clean sheet involves all 11 players and you saw Mourapid putting in slide tackles left, right and centre. And in that game, the fridge did oil his wheels and get stuck in.

  6. We are being linked with strikers and mid but why we don’t need any Harry Kane and Troy parrot will or are world class and we have so many mid I can’t name like dele Alli or Lo celso or son we need more defenders or use tanganga he is a young talent
