  1. I'm a Liverpool fan and I wasn't even that angry after the result and was actually proud of the lads for their efforts in spite of the officiating. Going forward if VAR is to stay I would say that

    1) VAR should not be fellow referees and instead trained seperately to be impartial

    2) VAR panel should be mic'd up to allow transparency similar to cricket when there is a review.

It might not solve everything, but it would reduce the bullshit excuses that they provide and any accusations of corruption

  2. VAR was not at fault here, the ref was. He agreed with the linesman’s decision and didn’t even consider VAR. This happens all to often. If you’re gonna have VAR then have VAR. The ref had more authority than VAR and waved play on within seconds. No check at all. I’m a spurs fan that was at the game today. Refs are the problem here, not VAR, as VAR has clearly seen it.

  3. The worst part about this is Liverpool deservedly will feel like victims, which is what they love to do at any opportunity they get

  4. As a spurs fan, yes var was bad but its karma for how long the refs have been playing in oppositions favour. feels good to finally be the team that unfair decisions are made in favour of. Sorry Liverpool😢

  5. After watching this game and soo many games this season I can say that our beautiful game is FINISHED with this shocking system never liked it since day 1 just get it out it’s ruining the game

  6. Spurs struggling to get a goal to get the win against a 9 men Liverpool is a win in itself for liverpool. Disgraceful VAR as usual it's sad at this point

  7. Soon as kane leaves Tottenham will win the league ange is a world class manager and Tottenham fans didnt want him now they would be thinking differently now as the style of play and fight to the end of every game attack attack class 💚

  8. Lpool kept getting away with it in their performances vs chelsea vs wolves vs newcastle vs west ham (first 45mins) their luck finally ran out today albeit spurs with a big helping hand from VAR

  9. Corruption of the highest level, this goes on too much – bunch of rich white old men all mates protecting each other? Anyone speaks out they get fined – dictatorship level stuff in 2023? Disgrace. Genuine disgrace. Get foreign refs in, FA need to have a word with themselves, this keeps happening, fans WILL BOYCOTT. They will.

  10. I’m not a red fan but wtf has just happened definitely this is corruption Diaz goal is offside and Var ruled it out !! lol they need start outsourcing referees, these English officials are jokes they know nothing about football
