  1. The rule is "Using excessive force is when a player exceeds the necessary use of force and endangers the safety of an opponent and must be sent off". He endangered the opponent, it is a red card. Once you answer yes to "Has he endangered his opponent", then it is a red card. I am disappointed in these pundits trying to re-write the rules.

  2. If referees dont want to do their job properly then league has to start awarding points post game. Spurs keep their 3 points but Liverpool deserved atleast one game changes if they get the goal and the red card isnt awarded

  3. It ruins the brand, instead of talking about spurs winning it late we are again talking about officials and VAR. I'm actually for VAR I'm just against the people that run it who are completely incompetent. I'll say sack the lot, even Howard webb. Its clear corruption at this point, the amount of decisions going against Liverpool it makes you wonder. All that said well done spurs, it wasn't thier fault that the refs are incompetent

  4. Shocking stuff Gary.. Yes I'm a Liverpool fan but the Premier League's VAR compared to the Champions League model is chalk and cheese.. run by complete morons who I expect have never played the game before.. everything seems 2nd rate and amateur

  5. Spurs couldn't penetrate when Liverpool were so deep, which is why I'm sure an upgrade on Kulusevski (cut back inside merchant) with a proper right winger will be top of the agenda.

  6. Pure robbery. How VAR missed that clear onside call is truly unbelievable. Like how?? Jones red card was also very harsh but I can accept it. Terrible decision for Jota's first yellow. Refs had a complete shocker today.

  7. Seriously… the thing that happend for Spurs tonight is that they won by a robbery. Liverpool will challenge for thw tittle and Gary is just purely bitterabout it due to unitrd being so bsd, lets be honedt if we had a full team on for a full game we would of won that , Spurs won by a lucky own goal in the end vs 9 men , let that sink in, just shows how strong we are . Simon hooper should be jailed for tonights blatant match fixing .

  8. Typical sad Spurs…… Celebrating like they've won something!!! Injury time against Sheffield… And then an own goal in the 96th minute against 9 men….. Sad b@stards, wait until VAR effects your team!!!
