  1. Jim Moxon did a bang up job in the interim it seems…
United’s head of sports medicine comings and goings:
    McNally leaves in February.
Moxon comes in. Everyone’s injured, including the emergency loan signing.
    O’Driscoll starts last week.
Sometimes it’s bad luck. In this case, I see it as the owners (the Glazers, not JP Morgan Chase) ignoring the behind the scenes stuff and starting the season without a full coaching and support team.

Play with a back 3 and have Rashford and Dalot as wing backs. LB is clearly a cursed position, and I’d rather not lose Amrabat playing there. Bonus is – we’d have a man extra in CM, the keeper with good feet but not great hands will have more CBs to have little 1-2s with for 30 mins per game. Dalot and Rashford running at defenders and with us finally having a centre forward means they’ll have a target man. Time for Rashford to work on his crossing.

  2. Disappointing, especially for the player. But if we’re honest, Martinez has been pretty poor since he came back. He’s not been playing with the same level of intensity or outward desire that he was pre injury. Now we probably know why. Opportunity for someone else to step up. Let’s see if they do…
