      So yeah kovacic to replace gundogan it's sad to see him go. I feel like it has come full circle for gundo. You have to remember we signed him from Dortmund and he was injured at the time. What a servant he's been for us. It's good to refresh the team now. 🇮🇪🏆🏆🏆💙 I cannot see him going to a premier league rival like arsenal out of respect for man city. He's 33 in October. And the fact is it's hard to see quality players like we have leave. We are going to have to replace them at some point. He's given our club 8 incredible years since being first signed under pep. He owes Manchester city nothing and he will leave as a legend and will be remembered as a legend of city forever 🇮🇪🏆🏆🏆💙 I was devastated when aguero left but I got over it.

What a 7 years you gave all of us citizens I'm just a huge city fan from Ireland but I can speak for all the fans when I say Thank you for your service at Manchester city and thanks for everything you have done for this team. You are the captain that lifted the treble and only special players like you can achieve this honor.       Bit of a gut punch hearing Captain Gundogan is leaving Manchester City. As I'm sitting here wearing his City jersey. Club legends moving on is a part of the business of football… But it doesn't make it any easier to come to grips with. For all the great things I could say about Ilkay. The best thing I can say to describe him. Is that he's a winner! 14 trophies, domestic Treble, brace on the final day against Villa, Captained Man City's historic Treble. You delivered your best when City needed you most Ilkay. Thank you for all the wonderful memories Ilkay Gundogan!💙

      I rated him even before City. Back in BVB days. When Pep signed him I knew he meant business. Never been surprised at anything he did. He always had that in his locker. Fifa guys know what I mean😅but amazing moments none the less. I will miss seeing him in blue. Still dealing with the loss 😭 💙❤
